The location is great, near to many famous food places and shopping district. However, the hotel room is small, bathroom is small too. The room has a smell of mouldy air con, or clothes not dried with sun kind of smell that lingered for long. They don’t change bedsheets or blanket covers unless requested (we stayed five nights). And after night 3 I requested cos it was dirty. Ordering food and collection of Taobao parcels were easy. Service staff were friendly. So all they need is really a Reno I guess. Oh there is no drop off area for hotel so getting on cabs or didi was a bit difficult but doable.

This hotel offers great value for money! The price was super affordable, but the quality far exceeded my expectations. The hygiene was impeccable, with great attention to detail and absolutely no strange smells. All the facilities, like the water, electricity, and air conditioning, worked perfectly. The soundproofing was also excellent, so I wasn't disturbed by any outside noise. The service was genuine and not just going through the motions. Overall, it's an amazing value, making it my top choice for short stays. I'll definitely be back next time I travel!

Staying 3 nights at this hotel and location just close to Nanjing Pedestrian Walk and The Bund. Hotel Receptionist is friendly and helpful. Especially at noon, one of the receptionist (She, Unknown her name) help us to call to a local shop which I forget to ask is there’s a VAT for the item I bought. Thanks to her. Another receptionist, Nana help us to contact the driver during midnight to pick-up cause our flight is 6am although we booked during our 2nd day stay. Thanks for the arrangement. Cleanliness of the room thumbs-up and very comfortable. During our stay, there’s a construction proceed from 9am-6pm but that is not an issue for us cause we at outside whole day. Definitely will stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Treasury Hotel and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Shanghai. The location is excellent, just a short walk from The Bund and Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street. It was especially convenient for shopping, as we could easily return to the hotel to drop off our purchases before heading out again to explore the city. The hotel was also very convenient for receiving deliveries, which added to the comfort of our stay. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. We particularly appreciated their assistance in arranging transportation to the airport, making our departure smooth and stress-free. Overall, the combination of a prime location, comfortable accommodations, and excellent service made this a wonderful experience. We will definitely choose Treasury Hotel again when we return to Shanghai and would highly recommend it to fellow travellers.

Writing this review is not easy because I always try to stay positive and support hotels where the team genuinely makes an effort. Overall, my first impression of the hotel was good, but as my stay continued, several issues made it difficult to fully enjoy the experience. The biggest problem was the smell in the room. I asked to change rooms, but the alternative room had same unpleasant odor, so I decided to stay in the original one. Because of this, I shortened my planned stay. The smell wasn't just an ”old building” smell—it felt more like excessive humidity or even possible mold. It wasn't surprising to discover that the bathroom exhaust fan wasn't working. Another unpleasant experience was waking up with what looked like insect bites after sleeping in the bed. I cannot say for certain what caused them (probably bedbugs), but it was concerning. I also had a mild allergic reaction after using one of the hotel's umbrellas, so I would recommend wiping them down before use if you have sensitive skin. On the positive side, I truly appreciated the staff's attitude. They sincerely tried to understand my concerns and help, even if they weren't always able to resolve the issues. Their willingness to assist deserves recognition. Breakfast is definitely one of the hotel's strongest points. There is a wide variety of quality food, and it's an excellent way to start the day. The afternoon tea is also a nice benefit, especially with the beautiful view, making it a pleasant place to relax. I hope the hotel addresses the room condition and ventilation issues because the staff clearly care, and with better maintenance, the overall experience could be much better.

I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. The complimentary airport transfer and free Disney shuttle made our trip so convenient and stress-free. Our themed room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and made our stay even more memorable. A special thank you to the incredibly kind staff who surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade. Their warmth and hospitality truly made us feel valued. The hotel also provides so many thoughtful amenities for families with children, including anti-slip bathroom slippers for both adults and kids, plenty of hangers, numerous power outlets, complimentary bottled water, and a lovely swimming pool. Every little detail reflected how much the hotel cares about its guests' comfort. We left with wonderful memories and would definitely love to stay here again!

The hotel room is spacious, clean, and large enough to comfortably open two 30-inch suitcases. The room, however, could benefit from better soundproofing, as conversations from guests walking along the corridor can be heard quite clearly. One downside of the hotel is the lift arrangement. Guests staying on Levels 3–5 need to transfer lifts at Level 2, which can be inconvenient, especially when carrying luggage. The hotel provides two complimentary bottles of water daily, but additional bottles are available upon request from the front desk staff. A highlight for guests with long hair is the Laifen hairdryer provided in the room, which dries hair quickly and efficiently. The hotel also offers two types of pillows, including a memory foam option for added comfort. Laundry facilities are available with commercial-grade washers and dryers, though you may need to wait during peak periods, particularly on Sunday evenings. Overall, the hotel offers comfortable rooms and useful amenities, with only a few areas that could be improved.

I chose this Mercure hotel for my business trip to Shanghai, and my experience completely exceeded my expectations. I have to give it a full five-star rating, as I couldn't find a single flaw in any of the four key areas! First, let's talk about the location and transportation. The hotel's location is truly fantastic, right next to Binjiang Avenue. It's just an 8-minute walk from Exit 4 of Changyi Road Station on Line 14. It's also not far from the Oriental Pearl Tower and The Bund. In the evening, you can stroll along the riverside promenade, enjoy the river breeze, and take in the views of the Huangpu Bridge and the Lujiazui skyline. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, making both getting around and daily life super convenient. Next up is cleanliness, which is my top priority. The room was spotless, the bedding was dry and skin-friendly, with absolutely no strange smells or hairs. The bathroom's wet and dry separation was excellent, and even the nooks and crannies like the sink and around the toilet were pristine. The public areas, including corridors and elevators, were consistently tidy, and the fresh air system ran throughout, showing great attention to detail. The hotel's gym and self-service laundry room are well-equipped, fully meeting all the needs for a business trip. Finally, I must commend the service experience. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly, and check-in and check-out were super fast. Whenever I contacted the front desk with a request during my stay, they responded very promptly, always polite and never intrusive. The breakfast spread was also very rich, with both Chinese and Western options, fresh ingredients, and great flavors. Overall, the value for money is outstanding. Whether you're in Shanghai for business or leisure, this hotel is a top choice. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai!

We stayed with two children, and they upgraded us to a Little Yellow Duck themed room, which the kids absolutely loved. The complimentary scheduled shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. On our first day, we wanted to go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Just as we were about to call a taxi, the shuttle driver told us he could take us directly and advised us not to bother with a taxi, which was super convenient. Heartwarming late-night snack: We could enjoy a late-night snack after returning to the hotel. They offered mini wontons and mixed noodles. The mini wontons were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed them. Cleanliness: Overall, it was excellent! Minibar all-you-can-drink: There were sodas, and for the kids, oat milk and cookies. The cookies were incredibly tasty! Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering it directly to the room. Another shout-out to the hotel: I accidentally booked an extra room on another platform but forgot about it. The hotel proactively contacted me, which was very considerate, and they even refunded me in the end. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.

This time, when I brought my child to Shanghai for a trip, I still chose the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road. After a tiring full day at Disneyland, we arrived at the hotel and were grateful for the room upgrade to a suite. After checking out, we realized we had left a bag behind. A big thank you to staff member #066 who helped us find it and even arranged for it to be couriered home. The service here is absolutely amazing! Thank you very much! ❤️❤️

GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at this hotel, and my overall experience truly exceeded expectations. I initially chose it just for its downtown location, but I was pleasantly surprised by everything from the ambiance to the views. [coffee][coffee][coffee] I stayed in the Bund View Junior Suite, and the most striking impression was the absolutely superb view and stunning night scenery. The bay window in the room was truly the highlight; the view was expansive and unobstructed. Sitting by the window, you could look directly at the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. During the day, you could clearly see the scattered city buildings of Lujiazui, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Once night fell and the city lights came on, the entire cityscape was visible – the dazzling river view and the clear city nightscape were all laid out before you. There's no need to specially crowd onto the Bund for sightseeing; you can enjoy Shanghai's top-tier night view right from your bed or the bay window, peaceful and therapeutic. It's also perfect for photos, which instantly made me fall in love with this room. The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, a prime downtown spot. There are numerous subway lines nearby, offering excellent connectivity. Whether you're heading to the Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, or various business districts and attractions, getting around is incredibly convenient, significantly cutting down on travel time. For those visiting Shanghai, this excellent location is a huge plus, making dining, entertainment, shopping, and travel all very easy. The location advantage is truly maximized. During my stay, I noticed that the hotel's facilities were well-suited to travel needs, with great attention to detail. The hotel's smart robot delivery service was incredibly convenient; you could request anything with a single click, and the robot would quickly deliver it to your room, saving time and hassle – a great smart experience. What pleased me most was the hotel's complimentary laundry room and gym, which are truly essential for guests staying away from home. After a tiring journey, you can easily exercise to relax and also wash and dry your clothes promptly. This is very thoughtful and greatly enhanced the comfort and value for money of my stay. Even more commendable was the hotel's service: polite, attentive, and prompt throughout. As soon as I arrived, a concierge staff member proactively approached to help with my luggage. The service was initiative and warm, making me feel very comfortable. The service throughout was not deliberate or perfunctory, striking just the right balance, gentle and thorough, without stiff formalities, conveying a very sincere attitude towards guests. Overall, my first stay experience was perfect. The room environment was clean and comfortable, the night view was top-notch, the location was excellent, transportation was super convenient, smart facilities were comprehensive, the accompanying laundry room and gym were extremely practical, and the staff service was very attentive. It's perfectly suited for couples, friends exploring, or business travelers on short stays. It has silently been added to my go-to list for Shanghai, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!

HHuifeidejinyuerThe B&B has adorable little bunnies you can feed, and in the evening, we sat in the courtyard chatting and even saw the Disneyland fireworks! 🎆 The Chinese breakfast spread was quite generous, and they even had freshly ground coffee ☕️. The surroundings are peaceful, and they offer shuttle service to Disneyland. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we'll definitely be back this summer.

GGuest UserThe Waldorf Astoria's century-old ambiance is ingrained in its architecture, but the warmth truly comes from our concierges, Aaron and Katrina. During our chat, they meticulously explained the history and signature dishes of various restaurants, offering unique dining tips for everything from the three-tiered afternoon tea at Peacock Alley to the Western cuisine at Pelham's open kitchen, and even the retro long bar at The Long Bar. Their thoughtfulness extended to every small detail, and the farewell gift at check-out felt incredibly ceremonial. This genuine sincerity made our Bund trip truly complete, and we will definitely return.

The place is easy to find, even though we need to walk a quiet distance from the nearest station. Still reachable though. There’s also many stores, cafes, and restaurants nearby. The hosts are very helpful and professional. I would recommend to stay here bcs it offers excellent value for money…

Uuncle jokerThe service was excellent! I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade upon arrival. The late checkout until 2 PM was a real lifesaver. This is a huge plus, as Banyan Tree, for instance, was completely inflexible about late checkouts, which is partly why I chose W instead. I hope this late checkout option remains available!

GGuest UserAt first, I thought it was a bit far but once I started to explore, I appreciate the location as it is set away from the crowd but very walkable. About 10 mins walk to the LV iconic ship one way, 10mins walk or thereabouts to West Nanjing Rd Butterfly Cremarous in another direction and if you head off in another direction, about 15mins to IAPM mall. The service was great. The girls were helpful with our Taobao packages and also when I wanted to order food delivery. Self washing machine and dryer were easy enough to use. Cleaners really kept the room tidy. Some construction when we were around end of May 2026 but not too bad. As with most places in China, you will have random smokers inside but our room did not smell of smoke so that's a RELIEF! Another minor negative was the bathrobe was in tatters but that was only the 1st day out of 4 nights stay Also at times, food delivery person could deliver to your room even though you need card access. Worth nothing though I haven't felt unsafe. I actually like the room layout, felt spacious and also probably the only hotel where I have watched so many movies.
