Glücklicherweise konnten wir einen öffentlichen Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel ergattern und der Parkuhr eine 24-Stunden-Buchung entlocken. Denn die schmale Einfahrt zur Hotelgarage sowie ein Parkliftsystem ist für unsere „Familienkutsche“ ungeeignet (Erfahrungswerte!). Verständigung mit dem Rezeptionspersonal recht „holprig“ mangels ausreichend guter Deutschkenntnisse von deren Seite. Eine an uns übergebene Zugangskarte für Zimmer und Hotelaußentür (ab definierte Abenduhrzeit einzige Möglichkeit ins Gebäude zu gelangen) war nicht freigeschaltet. Zimmer war für unsere „Ansprüche“ gut (erstaunlich für diese Hotelkategorie -＞ Kühlschrank für die Kühlung selbst mitzubringender Dinge vorhanden) Frühstück: Quark für Musli habe ich vermisst und leider nur die stark zuckerhaltigen Fertigcerealien vorgefunden. Ergo lieber gleich verzichtet. Weil mir der Meerrettich bzw. die Meerrettichsahne nicht zu den anderen Lebensmitteln passend schien habe ich nachgefragt, wozu dieser gedacht sei… Mit dem Wort Meerrettich konnte der „Frühstücksservice“ nichts angefangen. Also habe ich gefragt, ob diese „Zutat“ für „salmon“ gedacht sei. Daraufhin wurde mir erklärt, dass der Lachs aus sei (ca. 9:30 / gefrühstückt wird wohl im „Schichtsystem“, nachdem wir bei Anreise gefragt wurden, in welchem „Zeitfenster“ wir zu frühstücken besnsichtigen). Sehr irritierend - wir konnten nämlich unmittelbar zuvor direkt beobachten, wie eine nich halb volle Platte mit Lachsaufschnitt in die Küche getragen worden war. Wollte sich das Personal für‘s eigene Frühstück (auch das hatten wir beobachten können) diese Leckerei exklusiv „sichern“?

There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and opposite. It was about two stops with half hop, so it was easy to move the carrier. It takes about 7 minutes to walk. The room was clean and meticulous every day, so I felt good when I went out and came back. I used a three-person room, but it was a small bed, but I came to rest comfortably with a private bed. The front desk staff were always very friendly!

Intercity hotel is very close to Mainz Hbf, only 3 minutes away. Come out of the door of platforms 8, 11, and 13 in the station, go right along the road where the taxi comes in, pass by a tram track, and the hotel is opposite. The breakfast was very rich, the photos hanging on the walls in the hotel were artistic, the service staff were warm and thoughtful, and there was a free city travel card. It was very comfortable to stay here and I would come back again.

The Hann airport is bad and sad and it is not good to stay outdoor and cold at night. If you need to sleep one night before you start very soon this is a good solution. It's not so bad that we had booked, given the exceptional situation we found in late February(snow that blocked the motorway, dropped flights etc...) . The check-in was made with the booking, given the late time we arrived. The room at the fifth floor was cold and it took a eternity to warm it .... For the rest functional. The only way to eat something is the McDonald's stick at the airport and perhaps a German bakery inside it.

The hotel is 1km from Frankfurt Hahn airport. Yes B&B hotel is directly opposite the airport but this has a much better feel to it from my experience. I got a lift there close to midnight as our plane got in very late but there is a shuttle bus that will also take you if you call them. I was pleasantly surprised. I payed €70 for breakfast and a room and the hotel looks really good and was comfortable. The room was clean, quiet with a good shower. I expected to stay in a lot worse! In fact, I would have preferred to stay here than the 4 star hotel I stayed in Wittlich for the other 2 nights. The staff were friendly and attentive. I had a beer but no food as it was quite late but people said that the food was good and not dear so I trust them. All I can say is that breakfast the next morning was excellent and you could have as much coffee as you wanted. There is a sauna etc but I did not have time to use it. I used the Hotel Shuttle Bus the next morning but if you are not feeling as lazy as I was, you could easily walk to the airport. I would definitely stay here again, whether staying for a night or a few days if flying into Frankfurt Hahn.

The location behind the main station, but without direct access, requires 30 minutes walk to both the station and the city centre. The rooms are rather small, but convenient and functional. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very good for a short stay and the parking was free.

We booked 5 nights and we were ready for a little vacation by the Rhine. Mrs. Flores made us aware, that the ”Executive Lounge” was unfortunately not that big, but we had to see that with our ”own eyes”. Really good service was provided upon check-in, and our expectations for the stay at the hotel became greater. The room we had been allocated was on the 5th floor with a wonderful view of the Rhine. We had booked a room with breakfast, so we were excited to see, how the breakfast buffet was. But we were very pleasantly surprised there 😊.. There was a reasonably large selection of various breads and hot items, so it was just a matter of getting started with breakfast. The hotel allows you to sit outside and enjoy your breakfast with a view of the Rhine, and watch the people walking and cycling past. We were very lucky with the weather, so breakfast was enjoyed for a little longer time than usual. After breakfast, we went up and see how the ”Executive Lounge” was. But unfortunately we were somewhat disappointed. The ”Executive Lounge” consists of 2 small rooms, where there were 3 tables in each room, and 3 people could sit at each table. When we got outside the time when alcoholic drinks are served, we could see that you could have a cup of coffee or an apollinaris. The snacks on display looked a bit boring, and the fruit wasn't of the best quality either. But cheer up, it could be good in the evening... But when we visited the ”Executive Lounge” in the evening, beer, wine and spirits were on display - but the snacks that were also on display didn't seem particularly inviting - so we didn't take any of them. Summary of our experience of the ”Executive Lounge” is that it is not necessary to purchase access to the ”Executive Lounge”. And we can only encourage hotel management to go on a study trip to Düsseldorf or Dresden, where we have experienced what an ”Executive Lounge” should really be like. In general, the level of service is very high, and the staff a super good service at the hotel 😊... Here we have to highlight in particular: Mrs. Flores from the reception, Heike from the breakfast restaurant and Brittany from Guest Relations. They gave us a really good service during our stay. In summary, we would give the hotel 4 stars out of 5. If the hotel should have had the last star, the ”Executive Lounge” must be upgraded with better rooms. (Could space be created for a small area down in the restaurant area, so that you also have the opportunity to sit outside on the warm summer evenings. We would like to come again at another time to enjoy the good location and super service 😊..

The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was excellent (many choices, everything fresh, stuff was very kind/supportive). The location cannot be better - only couple of meter towards the main street (also the Christmas Market). Parking is possible on two underground floors - there were many places available independent there was a full house. We would come back anytime again in the future and this place is very recommended for everyone!

We travelled to Ludwigshafen for business and looked for hotels near to the work premises, unfortunately the 'Excelsior Hotel' was first in the list. At only 90 euros a night (including breakfast) it is no doubt a 'budget' option, but it isn't budget in the respect of a Travelodge or Premier Inn, instead it's a lost hotel in a pretty unpleasant area which has been left to decay. The hotel is a short walk from the railway station, graffiti-covered walls surround the hotel, and the first impression of the hotel visually is not a positive one, it's hard to even find the way in, amongst scaffolding and concrete jungle. At night, it's a fairly unsafe-feeling area, with people 'hangin around' looking suspicious. The one positive aspect upon booking was the 'Skybar', however digging deeper into reviews, it's clear that it's been closed long before the 'pandemic', infact 4 years ago, and upon arrival we were informed that it's still closed with no future planned. There is no restaurant onsite, nor bar besides a mini-fridge sat on the reception desk with a few bottles of beer available. Upon check-in, I was also asked for my 'date of birth' and home address, which often feels irrelevant, I refused to give such details. Once in the room, via the lift which takes about 5 minutes to arrive and to move, there's no air conditioning which during 32c weather was painful, but fortunately there was a fan. The room size isn't bad at all and the bed was comfortable, but the presentation of the room, as a new guest, wasn't considerate. A pile of electrical extension and cables was next to my bed, not tucked away out of sight. The internet connection was virtually useless in the afternoon/evenings after guests start to utilise it, I resorted to using mobile data instead. There are balconies, but they're just concrete and far from cosy, although the view over the city isn't at all bad. There is no furniture and in addition from a security aspect someone could easily go from their balcony to yours, therefore always be sure to lock and chain the balcony door when not in the room, or at night. At night, you can hear noise from neighbouring rooms, above, below and to the sides, I am also fairly sure that I had 3 'bed-bug' bites from my two night stay at the hotel. Breakfast was included in my 90 euro rate and the breakfast restaurant isn't bad, the service is friendly but the choice is limited, a few cold options and minimal hot options, no bacon or sausages unfortunately. It was a little off-putting to see mouse-traps being laid around the restaurant while I was sat trying to enjoy my meal. While away from the hotel, I left the 'Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, despite this upon return later that afternoon the cleaner had been into the room and cleaned, this is not acceptable when the message is clearly made that the room should not be disturbed. The hotel has plenty of promise but it didn't really meet my expectations I chose the hotel specifically for its underground parking as it's quite some way out of the city centre, and so not somewhere I'd recommend if you didn't have car. When I got there I was told the underground parking was closed for maintenance, and I could park on the street, which at that time of day was impossible. It was only when I pushed the issue they said I could park in the little open air car park at the rear, which was still 15 EUR per day. The room they allocated me had a loud whining noise coming from the bathroom, and would have prevented me sleeping, and when I went to ask for a new room they didn't seem to believe me but then took ages to allocate me a new room. No idea why. One of the nice features of the hotel is if you choose to not have your room cleaned you get a token for a free drink at the bar. The first time I went to claim my drink the bar was closed as they were checking in lots of people, so can only assume were short staffed. The next night there seemed to be a single girl manning both the bar and the front desk and she couldn't cope (not her fault) so I just gave my token to a random guy as I wasn't prepared to wait so long for a free beer. On the positive side they were really helpful when I was stupid enough to drop a bottle of beer in the car park when unpacking my car, and they cleaned it up for me without any fuss. I would recommend staying as close to the centre of the hotel as I was at the far end (315) and the WiFi was very poor, and so had to tether my laptop to my phone. One really nice touch was the room had a bluetooth soundbar so you could play your music on your phone in the room. This was a really nice touch. Maybe I just had a bad experience, but I probably would not stay there again, and definitely not if I didn't have a car.

So much nicer than I expected! Coming from the States I had pretty low expectations for a Super 8. But wow could the American Super 8s learn a few things from this place. The room is sparkling clean and modern, with comfy beds and bedding. The breakfast is fabulous, with eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, breads, cheeses, juice, delectable croissants, choice of coffee drinks, and more. There’s a spacious new lobby with sofas and lounge chairs. They will cook you a nice thin crust pizza. You can buy wine and beer. Is this even a Super 8?!

Das Hotel ist neu, Eröffnung war November 2023. Allerdings hat man sich beim Bau nicht viel Mühe gegeben bzw. reichlich gespart. Das Zimmer ist hellhörig, ein Nachbar duschte sich noch um 0:30 Uhr, ich dachte, es wäre bei mir. Die Wischböden haben keine oder schlechte Trittschalldämmung, man hört jeden Schritt vom Nachbarzimmer. Im Zimmerdesign hat sich ein Architekt ausgetobt, der ganz sicher nie selbst darin wohnen muss: Die Dusche und das Waschbecken sind direkt neben dem Bett! Somit verteilen sich schön die Duschdämpfe und Haare beim Fönen im Zimmer, geschweige von einer ”Privatsphäre”. Das WC ist zum Glück in einem kleinen Raum, aber so winzig, dass man kaum an der Tür vorbei kommt. Es gibt keine Sitzgelegenheit mit Rückenlehne, in der man sich nach einem anstrengenden Tag bequem hinsetzen könnte, nur ein unförmiges Ledersitzkissen. Als ich dies bemängelte, sagte man mir, das wäre so gewollt. Das Konzept will etwas, was der Gast nicht möchte, interessant. Auch sucht man vergeblich einen Schrank oder ein Regal für die Kleidung, es gibt nur eine offene Kleiderstange mit Kleiderbügeln und eine Kofferablage, man lebt also aus dem Koffer. Der Seifenspender am Waschbecken war total verstaubt, der in der Dusche defekt. Ansonsten war das Zimmer hell, 2 riesige Fenster bis zum Boden. Das Doppelbett war bequem. Die Beleuchtung lässt sich schön mit Touchpad vom Bett aus regeln. WLAN funktioniert hervorragend. Das Frühstück war bei meinem Preis von ca. 75 € (1 Person) inklusive. Daher darf man selbstverständlich auch kein Bio-Gourmetfrühstück erwarten. Entsprechend ist daher die Qualität: billige Wurst, Käse, Fertigjoghurt in großen Schüsseln, süßer billiger O-Saft, Fertigbouletten usw. Die Auswahl an sich ist allerdings angemessen reichlich, wie Rührei, Würstchen, Müsli, verschiedene Brötchen, 2 Kaffeautomaten usw. Allerdings werden die Tische nicht regelmäßig abgewischt, man räumt sein Geschirr selber weg. Daher muss man nach einem sauberen Tisch suchen. Der Raum ist riesig und ungemütlich, allerdings ringsum voll verglast, wodurch man zumindest einen schönen Ausblick hatte. Abends gibt es in diesem großen Aufenthaltsbereich auch Essen wie Pizza, Burger, Pasta, Wraps und Salate, wie ich der Karte entnahm. Das Personal war durchgängig wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Parkplatz ist mit 20 € überteuert und war bereits voll. Ich habe dann nach ca. 5 Minuten Suche einen Parkplatz nur ein paar 100 m entfernt in einer Seitenstraße gefunden, der mit Parkuhr 1 €/Std kostet, wobei nur bis 19 Uhr und ab 9 Uhr bezahlt werden muss. Oder 100 m weiter sogar mit Glück gratis (ich hatte Glück). Insgesamt ein günstiges Hotel mit etlichen Schwächen, die ohne viel Mehrkosten vermeidbar gewesen wären. Zumindest können das andere Budgethotels besser.

This hotel is located just in front of the train station which is so convenient, also mean the main bus stop is here. It's quite well decorated. Despite its old built, it's well organized inside. Unfortunately I got the room on the backside but still got the top floor, so won't complain. They have AC and heater(separately). Just only one hair in found in the bathroom is the diasadvantage. Oh well, the blanket seems to be smaller than a queen bed. Maybe because I book just for one, anyway I hope to get a big one. A women at the reception I met was nice, friendly. Overall, I kinda like it here. Well, haven't tried thier breakfast so, can't say. I will be back here if I visit Mainz for some business reasons.

Excellent stuff and good breakfast the room is clean and comfortable just I half one comment regarding the TV channels there is no English Channel I hope if the hotel management they manage to add English channels nearby that is a Turkish supermarket and also another big supermarket 2 restaurants very close to the hotel approximately 10 m away Italian and German restaurant Bus station is approximately 200 m away to the city center and main train station

Wir haben für ein Wochenende in diesem Hotel übernachtet. Unser Familienzimmer war ok: überraschend geräumig, recht bequeme Betten. Aber es roch muffig (war auch nicht mit Lüften rauszubekommen). Trotz geschlossenem Fenster hört man den Verkehrslärm von der Landstrasse und der Autobahn, die direkt am Hotel vorbeiführen. Das Bad war in einem grenzwertigen Zustand: extrem renovierungsbedürftig, fleckiges Waschbecken, fleckige Dusche, Toilette, die unbedingt ersetzt werden müsste und sehr unangenehm roch. Auch das Frühstück war extrem einfach, die Tische im Frühstücksraum waren schmierig und mit 13 EUR pro Person ist das Frühstück definitiv überbezahlt. Wir waren jetzt 2x in diesem Hotel, aber dieses Mal war definitiv das letzte Mal!

Got upgraded as frequent Accor Hotel user. Privilege room is very nice, overlooking a small park, quiet neighbourhood, queen bed, tremendous shower, & good lighting. 2 blocks from main train station in Mainz, which is a beautiful city. Nice towels & bedding as well as soap, lotion, shampoo & conditioner dispensers. Room is reasonably quiet but with a little bit of traffic noise when windows open. Gift of 2 free drinks on check-in for my wife & I, which was a very nice touch. Also in easy walking distance of old town & many museums & cathedrals - many of which are pedestrian only streets also filled restaurants, bars & shops. Downside - only 1 English TV station (France 24) despite listing BBC, CNN, etc that actually have no signal. TV is small (much smaller & fewer stations than Mercure in Frankfurt). Advised safe not working on Saturday check-in at 3 PM, but never fixed before we left on Tuesday (although Monday was holiday). No light at inside front door. Coffee cups are too tall to fit under Krups machine & no milk (even powdered). Fridge is truly tiny & doesn’t keep anything cold. Small bar & restaurant only open for breakfast (€20 each). Location great, room nice & staff friendly so would stay again despite disappointments.

Wow. I was so impressed with Motel 8. I was thinking a cheesy rundown motel, totally surprised. Our room was very nice and clean. It was so modern and a beautiful lobby area. Rhe libby restrooms were super clean. Yes, I would recommend and good location.

It was convenient for a one night stop, near the motorway. However, there were no staff around to help with check in, it was all electronic, and rather confusing, leading to queues on a hot day. Ground level parking was extremely scarce (we think there may have been underground parking available, but there was no indication of this, no signage, no information when booking, and no staff to ask!) Room was basic, although the air conditioning was good, and the TV did have Sky Sport for the Bundesliga.

The hotel is nearly new, spacious enough, good location if you need to go to the train station, quiet sleep, good breakfast, pleasant co-guests, helpful reception apart from one female employee who only does the necessary without a smile and a receptionist who was speaking to a colleague or friend in regards to an upcoming holiday which made us feel not being a welcomed guest.

A pinboard full of complimentary notes from dozens of appreciative guests in the Hotel Sander says it all : this is a very smart house, well run and friendly, and deserves the many plaudits – not least because it comes at a very reasonable rate. From the bright underground garage direct into the tastefully finished lobby to the spacious inner courtyard and the spacious, well-appointed bedrooms, the Sander is well conceived and comfortable with a welcome touch of flair. Breakfast in the large and airy dining-room offers an excellent choice. Well located opposite the attractive new Koblenz Forum centre and within easy walking distance of anywhere you need to go in the city centre, the Sander is an ideal base or stopover in the busy Rhine/Mosel triangle.

A hotel on the Rhine with a beautiful environment and underground parking. The hotel is 1 km away from the main business street in the city center, convenient for shopping and walking. The hotel rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is rich in variety, the ingredients are fresh, very delicious, and there is freshly ground coffee. Worth living.

Das Hotel ist von außen sehr hübsch und der Innenhof ist mit viel Liebe gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und die Zimmerdecke war voller Spinngeweben. Da wir aber die ganze Zeit unterwegs gewesen sind, hat uns das Interieur nicht weiter tangiert. Das Duschen war leider fast unmöglich, da das Wasser entweder brühend heiß oder eiskalt gewesen ist. Als wir darauf hingewiesen haben, wurde uns nur gesagt, man solle das Wasser laufen lassen und versuchen stückchenweise die Temperatur zu regulieren. Danke für den Tipp, da wären wir fast nicht drauf gekommen. Man wolle nochmal Bescheid sagen, das sei wohl ein bekanntes Problem. Um so frappierender, dass die Mischbatterie nicht getauscht wird oder man in Kauf nimmt, dass sich die Gäste verbrühen. Das Bistro war aber ganz nett. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Das Frühstück war solide mit frischem Obstsalat und hausgemachten Marmeladen. Aber ansonsten hatte man das gefügt, dass die Brötchenauswahl mit der Anzahl der Gäste abnahm. Zum deutschen Eck läuft man vom Hotel eine gute halbe Stunde, es ist also erforderlich, fit zu Fuß zu sein oder sich ein Rad zu leihen. Generell war das Personal freundlich, wenngleich man auch mal stehen gelassen wurde, weil man einem anderem Gast das Prinzip für das Schlüsseldepot zeigen wollte.

The location behind the main station, but without direct access, requires 30 minutes walk to both the station and the city centre. The rooms are rather small, but convenient and functional. The staff was great, friendly and very helpful. The hotel is very good for a short stay and the parking was free.

The room was very clean, the bed was comfy, the breakfast was excellent (many choices, everything fresh, stuff was very kind/supportive). The location cannot be better - only couple of meter towards the main street (also the Christmas Market). Parking is possible on two underground floors - there were many places available independent there was a full house. We would come back anytime again in the future and this place is very recommended for everyone!

The staff are great here - upon checkin the Manger helped contact Enterprise for our rental car pickup. This was so helpful. we chose the hotel to be close to the rental car. The hotel feels modern and room were a pretty good size. Only drawback is the hotel is far into town. We did walk it - took about 20 minutes one way. so good to get exercise, but a little far. but it is easy to navigate - down one street to Porta Nigra. The hotel was great for one night, but if you want to spend more time in old town Trier, this might be a bit far.

The main advantages are the location, being a five minute walk from the main rail station and very large rooms. I imagine that the hotel was very glamourous some years ago, but it is now an ageing hotel with some charms. The rooms do not have a fridge - the space is now sealed sghut, and the safe wasn’t operative. The bed is an issue - there are two old single beds pushed together and there are separate bed covers for each, which are not nice for a couple. The room has a lot to offer with a lounge and two comfortable chairs, in an era when rooms are tiny and have no chairs or amenities. Ideally, the hotel needs upgrading and renovating but the cost is reasonable and it does offer good value. The staff were friendly and I liked this hotel more than the more modern, boxy hotels we stayed at in several other cities on this trip.

Room is cleaned 1x every 3 days and the hand towels used are then discarded, so a nice mountain was dirty on the floor, not a pleasant face. No ventilation in the room, window can be at a ventilation stand, but if the room is on the front ( street side), the sound of traffic of the busy street is ALL ALL, the window must remain close but no fresh air is not fine. Too few parking places, really a disaster, and so ask when checking out: whether your car is in a HOTEL Parking,(and so money for questions) No, of course not, they are certainly insufficient. a hotel at the Nivo of a youth hostel, without any Hotel feeling, for me no repeat, Florin (NL) #2117 stay 13/10 to 20/10 2023

Stayed in my way out and the way back, what’s great little hotel very simply decorated but very clean and great receptionist who remembered me on my return. Great views over the mossel river and only a short walk to the centre with ample Parking. Thanks for having me enjoyed meeting you

The parking lot that comes with it has very few parking spaces, and the front desk staff suggested that we park in the nearby parking lot for a fee of 2 euros. There was a bed that could be opened on the wall behind the sofa. We booked two beds when we booked, but the hotel forgot to put the bed in place. The staff was asked to operate and the staff apologized. Breakfast is quite rich. Luggage can be stored at the front desk. At the time of check-out, the staff must provide us with an English version of the proof of payment, but Ctrip is only Chinese, and the Ctrip website is replaced with the Chinese language. I have been working on this for a long time! Isn't the entire process Ctrip not agreed with the hotel? A lot of wasted time.

Perfect locarion, very close to the city center and at the same time far away from the city noise. Very clean and cosy rooms, delicious breakfast and nice atmosphere. It feels really like a home. If I have a chance to go again to Trier, I would definitely book this hotel again.

A fabulous hotel in every way. We stayed in December 2023 and the hotel was decorated for Christmas and looked delightful. We were given a complimentary bottle of wine on arrival. The room was comfortable and quiet. We stayed in the annexe which was a few steps away from the main hotel. Breakfast had a huge choice and plenty of it. The staff were friendly, we speak a little German and they all spoke English. The hotel was less than 5 mins from the town, and 10 mins from the Christmas market. Loved this hotel and will return.

Nells Park has various types of rooms (as regards size and luxury) and my room was a beautiful middle mother. Not very big but fine. The bathroom was a little bit on the small side and the shower cabin can be renovated but it was also good. There are 2 sauna cabins and a steam cabin; good temperature and wellness is very clean. One point of the hotel is the location. It is at least half an hour walk to the centre of Trier. But that means you're sleeping quietly, and that's very nice!
