Beautiful resort, stylish and relaxing. I had a front pool room and was perfect apart they don’t have queen or king size bedrooms. I slept very bad, the 2 single beds (not even attached to each other) and pillows are very uncomfortable. Hope they’ll invest in comfort , I would definitely come back.

The location provided isn't very accurate compared to its actual spot. The pools are 'boxed in' by the buildings and are smaller than they appear in photos. The front desk person who checked us in was very kind; we asked for a recommendation and it was spot on. However, there aren't enough reception staff to handle the large number of guests checking in and out. We really disliked the system for contacting reception; there's no direct phone line, the switchboard just forwards calls, but no one answers... after trying for 4 days before our arrival, it was impossible to get through.

Incredible stay! Contrary to some negative reviews about the hotel's cleanliness, we actually found a beautiful hotel perfectly located near shops (directly opposite a mini-supermarket and the city center). The room was spotless, as were all the hotel's facilities. And the staff were incredibly kind ✨ We were lucky enough to stay during Carnival 🎭

We have wanted to stay at AxelBeach for a while. People told us it's just an expensive old hotel, but because of the name it stays busy. Well, unfortunately that is the case. The rooms look like they haven't been updated for 50 years. The TV is old and the wires behind it were frayed so badly it didn't have a signal. And the mattresses are so thin and uncomfortable I woke up yesterday with pain shooting down my lower back and legs. There's no excuse for cheap pillows and mattresses if you're going to charge this much. And we had a suite! It's like they're happy taking the *** $ but not meeting our expectations with that money. Other places to stay are much nicer. But on a positive note, the staff are absolutely incredible. They were always so friendly and helpful. I just wish that we had a better experience with the rooms.

My friend's cash and credit card were stolen from the room while he was downstairs for breakfast. Luckily, the card was locked in time and the money on the card was not taken. The staff directly said that there was no thief and that it must have been lost somewhere else. I do not recommend coming here.

We stayed for 6 nights in an apartment with a large bedroom, a spacious living room, two bathrooms (one with a tub, one with a shower), a fully equipped open kitchen, and a large sea-view balcony. Pros: First, my immediate impression upon check-in was how incredibly clean it was. Although the overall facilities here are a bit dated, every corner of the room was spotless and very tidy. The dishcloths and rags were brand new, and the trash cans were pristine. Cutlery, various cooking pots, a refrigerator, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, oven, and microwave were all provided. Plus, there's a supermarket right below the front desk, so cooking for ourselves was very convenient. Second, the front desk service was excellent. The whole hotel had a wonderful atmosphere, including the pool and the rooftop cafe. There were also plenty of sofas, tables, and chairs where you could sit or recline. The public areas were very spacious and clean, and there were many activities available. The ambiance was truly great. Third, you could book various tours directly opposite the hotel's front desk, and communication in English was seamless. Cons: When I went to sleep at night, I smelled a strong musty odor. I searched high and low for a long time but couldn't find anything moldy, even under the bed. The next night, the strong musty smell was still there, and I finally realized it was coming from the decorative panels of the bedroom furniture, which all had a very heavy musty smell. I removed all the dresser drawers and nightstand drawers and put them out on the balcony to air out, but the headboard panels couldn't be removed, and the strong musty smell persisted. I contacted the front desk, and they immediately sent a repairman to the room. After a quick look, he told me they'd be back in 'five minutes,' and then... nothing. He never returned. They have a WhatsApp customer service, with different staff members on duty each day. When a new staff member asked how everything was, I mentioned that yesterday's repairman said he'd be back in 5 minutes but hadn't returned in over a day. The customer service agent apologized but said they had no vacant rooms. I told them I had already moved to sleep on the sofa. Mold can seriously affect one's health, especially for families with children, and I hope they address this. Then another customer service agent took over, and nothing was resolved; the issue was just left hanging. Every time I inquired, they responded with a very good attitude, but no one actually solved the problem. Honestly, they only need to replace the moldy decorative furniture panels with ordinary wooden ones; it's not a difficult task.

La Palma is the greenest and most beautiful of the Canary Islands, hence its nickname, ”the beautiful island.” It has a diverse flora and its climate is spring/summer year-round. Interesting places? Many of them are its beaches, waterfalls, and forests. The laurel forest, the production of a Canarian rum distillery, gofio mills, and, best of all, its people. The parador is fantastic, as it's a typical La Palma building with its interior courtyard, where the spring microclimate is present, terraces, and a seafront restaurant with views. The Punta de Santa Cruz de la Palma and its well-maintained gardens with a waterfall, pond, and dragon trees facing the sea. The service couldn't be better. We'll be back.

GGuest UserSanta Catalina Hotel is undeniably a historic architectural landmark, but as a hotel experience it fell well below expectations. On arrival, the service felt cold and somewhat pretentious rather than welcoming, with concierge staff coming across as detached and pompous rather than genuinely hospitable. A key reason for choosing the hotel was the prominently advertised rooftop pool and views, only to discover after check-in that access is restricted to suite guests. The spa is similarly limited unless you pay €15 per person for 90 minutes, which feels disproportionate given the modest facilities. These restrictions are not clearly communicated at booking and leave a sense of being misled. Several of the lounge and communal areas were also frequently reserved for corporate events and seminars, which further diminished the sense of a relaxed hotel environment. As a guest, it often felt as though you were secondary to business groups and functions moving through the space, even in more personal hotel moments such as walking through common areas in a robe. In-room entertainment is very dated, with a non–smart TV offering only basic local and satellite channels. Room service carries a €5 delivery surcharge, while on-site dining is largely limited to high-end fine dining with little casual alternative. It is also worth noting that Las Palmas sits under a noticeably less favourable microclimate than the south and west of Gran Canaria. During our stay, conditions were consistently cloudy, windy, and cool, which further limited the enjoyment of the hotel’s already restricted amenities. For those seeking reliable sun and beach weather, the southern or western parts of the island are a better choice. Overall, despite its striking heritage setting, the combination of underwhelming service, restricted access to advertised facilities, dated in-room amenities, corporate use of guest spaces, and disappointing weather made for a stay that did not feel justified by the price and is not somewhere we would return to. The atmosphere and clientele also skew noticeably toward an older demographic.

CClarestaBest 4 star hotel!! Initially we were worried about an all inclusive 4 star hotel. What if services, food, drink and entertainment aren’t good, we will be stuck! However, they changed our mind the minute we got there. As I approached the counter, they welcomed us and said they would check if our room was ready. Although it’s not, they took our bags for us and gave us a card (which allowed us to go and have lunch without extra cost) so we could start enjoying our time at the hotel. The room was clean and we loved the deco. We loved the attention to detail too! You can tell a lot of thoughts have gone into the design of the room. We love the food there too. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day we were there. Apart from the usual kids’ favourite, the main dishes were different at every meal every day. I particularly enjoyed the freshly cooked fish and paellas; and the Halloween themed night meal. The animación team was excellent. They were very good with my kids. My youngest was a bit shy to start with at the kids club. One of the staff gave her a lot of special attention to help her settle in. The evening entertainment was better than expected too. We really enjoyed the acrobat show. It’s not exactly BGT standard but it’s definitely entertaining enough to keep all of us happy. It’s also 10 mins away by car from the airport. We actually took the bus on the way there. It cost 1.40 eur per person and it stopped right opposite the hotel. On the way back, taxi cost 13-15eur. We also love that there is a beautiful beach right next to the hotel. It’s so thoughtful that there is a shower and towels right next to the gate so you could clean your feet before getting back to the hotel. If there’s anything to complain about, I would say the steam room wasn’t working during my stay!

GGuest UserWe had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)

GGuest UserLovely clean accommodation, and an easy drive from the airport - perfect for a late-night arrival. The staff was very friendly, with biscuits and water refills available at reception. The apartment itself was super clean and felt very new. Our Wi-Fi didn't work the night we arrived, but I think that was just a temporary blip. The bed was nice, and the place felt spacious - a good place to work remotely from with well-stocked cupboards in the kitchen, and a good dining table too. There was also a lovely pool area with plenty of loungers. If you don't mind not having beach views, this is a good sun and pool break option.

GGuest UserThe room was very clean on the first day of stay, and the quality of cleaning every three days after check-in needs to be improved. Other than that, everything else is satisfactory. The front desk is friendly and can help solve problems in time. The environment is very quiet and leisurely. You need to rent a car to travel, and the parking lot is not free.

EEmika sanCheck-in was a bit complicated and time-consuming as there was no front desk (you need to contact the hotel staff on WhatsApp). You need to be careful because you can't check in early or leave your luggage early even if you arrive early. Perhaps the canary is more humid than in Europe, the room smelled a little moldy and the room felt damp. There are windows, but is our room a courtyard? There was only a window facing, and the windows and curtains were closed all the time. Also, I think the walls are thin because I could hear music in other rooms. The door that separates the bedroom and bathroom is unstable and the gap above is large, so it is not recommended for those who care about sounds such as bathing or excretion. Also, since the bathroom only has shampoo and shower gel integrated, I think that those who are interested should bring shampoo and body soap. The room is equipped with a kettle, microwave, refrigerator, sink and tableware, so you can prepare a simple meal. Isn't it good for people staying consecutive nights?

GGuest UserMagnicico albergo in posizione panoramica.

HHUIHUAVery suitable for parent-child vacation, the hotel has arranged a lot of programs from morning to night. The design details of the hotel are super beautiful and ubiquitous, perfect African style. There are 9 swimming pools, you can definitely find the place you want to lie down and relax. There is a long row of shopping festivals and small restaurants at the entrance of the hotel. The Tujiu restaurant is the most authentic and delicious. The Chinese boss behind the scenes is super enthusiastic about us every time we eat After sending a large glass of wine, take a 7-minute taxi ride from the center of the dunes
