The hotel is located in a convenient location where we can easily commute around the city centre and the Bicester village. Sadia was really nice and helpful. She greeted us with a warm welcome. Rooms were quite small but they are clean and tidy. Overall, it was a great time staying at the hotel.

Nice English Breakfast and cheap parking place £5/24hrs. Only 3-5mins away from Bicester Village Outlet. But the room have bit of dog smell as the centralised Air Con system bring that in and some drainage smell too

The location is great, out in the countryside. We had a complimentary upgrade to a room with a view of the golf course, which was very pleasant. We booked room only so didn't use the restaurant. The room was spotlessly clean, and well equipped with a super king sized bed and a wardrobe. The bed was comfy. We used the bar, which is laid out like a country house lounge with lots of comfortable settees and chairs. We only stayed one night enroute to the NEC in Birmingham and left early the next morning, but overall we enjoyed the hotel and will return for a longer stay in the future.

It should be a hotel with several rooms connected together. The Oxford area is relatively cool, and there is no air conditioning in the rooms, but there is heating, and fans are provided in the cabinets. There are no slippers, but plastic cups are provided. We booked a 20-square-meter room with 2 beds and a desk. There is no space for the suitcases after unfolding them. There is a restaurant as shown in the picture. The breakfast is okay. I like the roasted mushrooms very much. There are boxed yogurt and milk. The houses in Oxford are relatively expensive. I think the location is average. It takes more than 20 minutes to walk to the recommended popular attractions. It feels that it is so expensive (weekends + peak season) and it is not worth spending 3,000. Very comfortable. There is a large lawn outside the window. It is refreshing to look at it! The check-in process was very fast. They also helped my Chinese friend who did not speak English to connect to the WiFi. Seeing that I was always helping to translate, they grabbed several welcome chocolates for me. Then the bed legs in my friend's room were unstable, so the science department arranged to change the room. They also gave each of us a bar drink and snack voucher to express their apology. And their restaurant is very attentive. It is a 5-minute drive from the train station and Oxford University, which is very convenient.

I use many different hotels on a monthly basis however this was my first visit at this hotel. I want to congratulate the team at holiday inn Oxford as I had an enjoyable stay and everything was clean and tidy. I was greeted with a warm welcome and although the hotel was busy the staff were very accommodating.The bar staff were very friendly but I would like to especially mention Lauren who served me with a smile and was very efficient considering how busy the bar was. Thank you for an enjoyable experience and I hope to return soon (14/10/22)

This hotel is in a great location, close to the train and bus stations. The check-in people were very friendly and let us leave our suitcases when we arrived before check-in time. They gave us a helpful detailed map of the major sights to see. When we returned to check in, they had already put our suitcases in our room upstairs. Our room was quiet and clean and came with a fan. The staff also let us store a sandwich in their refrigerator. Overall, a great stay for a reasonable price. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is in a quiet location. We were placed in another building, but the air conditioner was broken. The hotel placed an electric heater, so the room was not cold. There was an electric towel rail. The floor was carpeted, but the floor felt uneven. There were two rooms very close to each other through an outer door, and the sound insulation was slightly poor. I could hear clearly when someone opened the door in another room in the early morning.

Obviously I didn't book a barrier-free room. I didn't take a shower and the entire bathroom was wet. I almost slipped. The sheets were laid out randomly, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the mattress was too soft. The hygiene was okay. Outside the room is a river and a castle

Decent for a short stay. Location is very near Oxford university and staff are very friendly .

Unique food, impeccable service! I attended a large dinner in the ballroom. The chandeliers and lighting in the room created a beautiful atmosphere. The servers were kind and attentive. Main course was a unique aubergine dish - something out of the ordinary - and it was wonderfully prepared. I’ve eaten at The Alice for dinner as well as tea, and now I know that banquets are as delicious as the restaurant.

Super beautiful back garden, unexpectedly good looking, breakfast is a classic English full meal, fried egg tarts, ham, sausage, bread crumbs, coffee, parking is free and convenient, there is a gas station and convenience store opposite, we are here Go to the Bicester Village, drive for 20 minutes, recommend it again!

We stayed here the night before the weekend over the Friday bank holiday for two nights. It was perfect and so remote. Idyllic ally it is a beautiful place and we had amazing weather. The room was deluxe and services throughout the hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful at all times, and we were demanding. This hotel would be a perfect place to get away too and close to Bicester Village.

The environment of this hotel is really good. It is close to the golf course and has a free gym. The rooms are quite large and clean. One large bed and one small bed are suitable for families, but it is far away from Bicester Village, about 9 pounds.

The hotel has a long history. You can see its historical introduction by posting a picture. The interior decoration has many Chinese elements. The manor occupies a large area, the room is great, the breakfast is very rich, and the door to the hotel is very characteristic. The fireplace in the restaurant and bar is very warm.

We hired the bowling lanes last weekend and had a great time! Such a fab set up with the private bowling, perfect for families/friends and groups. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and food in the bar area after was delicious! Lovely afternoon will definitely return.

We stayed 3 nights B&B following a Travelzoo offer. Let me say firstly that the level of customer service, friendliness and general willingness to help was very high. The stay was let down a bit by the non function of the a/c in our initial room during a very hot spell in room 22 on the first night. Even with a fan it was unbearably hot during the night [being on ground floor we didn't wish to open the windows] and when I mentioned this at reception the following morning they said they would have a look but if unsuccessful allocate another room that was cooler. This happened [room 25] and whilst not having a/c either was positioned out of the daylong sun and had cooling original thick stone walls. I noticed since that another reviewer also mentioned the same issue in Oct 23 [was this never fixed?] so I'd suggest getting this sorted out ASAP as it was the only uncomfortable let down. Cooked breakfast each morning was tasty and well cooked. We had an evening meal in the restaurant on the first night and that was good as well. Included was a small cream tea for 2: 2 scones/cream/jam no variety choice of teas offered. There is adequate parking for guests within the courtyards. The location was excellent for our day trips to Stratford/Avon, Blenheim Palace etc. Incidentally due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange the dates a few days prior to our original dates. The reception staff were very helpful and amended them without issue or query. We were grateful for their understanding. So in summary overall pleased with the stay, the price we paid under this deal and especially the customer service but disappointed concerning the first room. A well located hotel for trips outs and a pleasant small village with old church and a couple of interesting shops.

We enjoyed the carvery at Hilton Garden Inn Abingdon this weekend. We were a party of 10, with ages ranging from late teens to early 80s. The hotel is lovely, with a warm welcome on arrival from the staff at reception. We sat in the bar for a while as we waited for all of our party to arrive. The bar is welcoming and comfortable and the drinks reasonably priced. At 12:30 we made our way to the restaurant and waited for a while to be seated. This was our first visit to the carvery and it would have been useful for a member of staff to explain the process to us - but we watched what other customers were doing and followed suit. The 3 course lunch is all self service and drinks are obtained from the bar. For starter there was a choice of soup with homemade bread and salad with cold meats. I had the salad and it was very nice, especially the potato salad which was delicious. The carvery was fantastic. With a choice of pork, beef and chicken, potatoes, cauliflower cheese, mixed vegetables and Yorkshire puddings. Unfortunately some of the serving platters were empty when we got there and we had to wait a while for them to be refilled. I imagine this was due to the sitting starting at 12:30 so an immediate rush of people. The beef was absolutely delicious, as were the potatoes and the Yorkshire puddings were truly scrumptious. I understand from one of my guests that the chicken was perfection. The vegetables were undercooked for my taste but the cauliflower cheese was lovely. We had a really great meal. There were a few improvements that could be made to improve the experience but nothing to put me off going back for another family birthday in a few weeks time.

Lovely stay, the rooms are comfortable clean and have some really nice touches you wouldn’t expect. Super easy to check in and out via the app and the Staff at the bar/reception as well as the diner were friendly.
