Very satisfied! The location is convenient, right in the city center, just three bus stops from Kanazawa Station. There's a hot spring on the top floor where you can relax every evening. Downstairs, there's a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven. The biggest surprise was the breakfast, with two options to choose from. You can either go to the nearby Omicho Market or have breakfast on the first floor of the hotel. Since I only stayed for two days, I chose one option each day. At the seafood market, you can pick between two restaurants: one serving seafood bowls and the other offering blackthroat seaperch kamameshi. I chose the latter, and it was absolutely delicious. On the second day, I had breakfast on the first floor of the hotel, where there was a wide variety of choices, and I could assemble my own beautiful breakfast set using different containers!

The hotel is conveniently located near JR Kanazawa Station, with many dining options nearby. The room was a bit oddly shaped, being a corner room with slanted walls, which reduced its usable space, but we could still fit two 24-inch suitcases. The hotel provides amenities for guests to pick up in the lobby, including DHC cleansing oil, lotion, cream, and cotton swabs. The service was also quite good. There's also a public bath; the women's section has two pools, nine shower stalls, and four hair dryer stations.

Please, don't make unsubstantiated claims in the future. I chose this hotel specifically because I read reviews mentioning hot springs, but there weren't any! This was the most disappointing hotel of my Shoryudo trip. It's not particularly close to the station either; even taking the underground passage, you still have to walk quite a distance exposed to the sun. While I did book the cheapest room, for 800 yen, the room was no different from a budget hotel, just with a slightly larger bathroom, and it still had the same old tub and shower curtain setup. The most frustrating part was finding a huge fingerprint inside the kettle lid when I opened it, and the two golden spoons also had fingerprints on their handles. Despite ticking the box to not change the sheets, they changed them anyway. My pajamas, which I had left on the pillow, were just left in a crumpled mess instead of being folded, which was very off-putting! Honestly, I rarely strongly advise against a place, but this is one of them! Oh, and about booking Myoryuji Temple – even though I had provided the time and number of people, they still called me and told me to contact them myself... I was quite speechless. Wasn't the whole point of preparing in advance and asking them to contact the temple because I was worried about not understanding Japanese English?!

The hotel is conveniently located close to Kanazawa Castle Park and Kenrokuen Garden. The front desk offers free luggage storage, which is a great plus. The hotel itself is new with excellent facilities, and getting around is very easy. Kanazawa Station is also just about a 15-minute walk away.

For a trip to Kanazawa, I highly recommend Hotel Forza! Its location is incredibly convenient – directly across from JR Kanazawa Station, truly a ”right-outside-the-door” experience. You don't even need an umbrella if it rains; just cross the street and you're there, saving a ton on transportation costs! Beyond the unbeatable location, the hotel itself is excellent: the lobby has a great design, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly. The biggest bonus is their large, clean public bath. After exploring Kenrokuen Garden or the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, coming back for a soak instantly rejuvenates you! For a Kanazawa trip where you want to maximize your time, this place is absolutely the perfect base.

Very modern and nice room in a good location close to the city centre. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. I booked a room for two, but the bed was a single with a couch on the side. The couch was comfortable, but it is not what I ordered or expected. It is a self checkout place, so while it is easy, you are not being served. I also missed the possibility of leaving our bags at reception or at least lockers. The ones in the front are for sending and receiving parcels.

A hotel with a bit of unique design. It's located right across from one of the exits of Omicho Market. There's a large public bath on the first floor. The toothpaste was interesting, it came in paper strips. The room layout was a bit odd, with the toilet door directly facing the bed. The convenience store is quite a distance away.

1. The location is excellent, making it my top choice when visiting Kanazawa. The only minor inconvenience is that most attractions are on the other side of the station's Tsuzumi Gate, so taking a taxi requires a detour. 2. The room met my expectations. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, opting instead to head straight to the Omi-cho Market for sashimi. I find that Hyatt breakfasts abroad tend to be quite similar and often not well-suited for Chinese palates, except for the Hyatt in Kyoto, where you can choose a Japanese breakfast (provided you go early or book it with the restaurant staff the day before). Based on reviews, it seems this Hyatt in Kanazawa doesn't offer that option. 3. Surprisingly, just two traffic lights to the right of the hotel, there's a late-night street food market. Many Japanese salarymen were eating there after work, creating a great atmosphere. 4. The nearest convenience store is the 7-Eleven inside the station.

I originally planned to stay for three nights and was very satisfied with my stay. However, due to unexpected circumstances, I asked the front desk around 3 a.m. on the last night to extend my stay by one more night. Since I made the request directly at the front desk (not through a third-party site), I believed it would be handled as a simple extension. The staff accepted payment, but only after that told me I would need to change rooms. I was informed that I could speak with the front desk again in the morning to arrange the room change. When I went to the front desk around 9 a.m., I was told there were no rooms available and that I would need to wait until 3 p.m. to check in again. I found this quite confusing — if that’s the case, it doesn’t really feel like a “stay extension.” In that case, I could have chosen another hotel. In the end, because I needed more time to pack, I was charged a 2,000 yen late fee. I understand hotel policy, but considering I had already paid to “extend” my stay, it didn’t feel very reasonable. I don’t mind paying, but the situation itself left me a bit disappointed.

The hotel service for our extended stay was fantastic, absolutely no complaints there. The only minor drawback was their housekeeping policy for consecutive nights. They only clean the room once every five or six days. On other days, they just replenish the toiletries. If you require more frequent cleaning, it seems to cost an additional 1500 Yen. You might want to check out picture three.

TTidu_tingbuxiadejiaobuExcellent value for money, and just a 2-minute walk to the station. The room was a bit small, but that's pretty standard for hotels in Japan. It's perfect for business travelers, but if you're on a leisure trip, you might struggle a bit with luggage space.

Jjulym****The staff was very welcoming and spoke both Japanese and English. You need to contact the hotel in advance for a pick-up from Kaga Station, but I hadn't received a confirmation from Ctrip when I left. So I called the hotel from the station and they arranged for a pick-up. It's a bit far, a 20-minute drive each way, but otherwise, everything was very satisfactory. The room was riverside, larger than your average Japanese hotel room, and had its own private bathroom. The onsen overlooked the mountains and forests, which was very comfortable! Dinner and breakfast were small but delicious, with the hand-painted menus, which were very elegant.

HHunhunmomoFacilities: Very new and satisfactory. Cleanliness: Excellent. Service: Attentive, and the station shuttle was very efficient. We loved the nearby Omicho Market so much that we visited it three days in a row. Kanazawa Castle and Kenrokuen Garden were also within walking distance. The only challenge was the scorching heat, but a light rain on the third day finally brought some much-needed coolness. Overall, the experience was very comfortable, and dining and entertainment options nearby were incredibly convenient. While the 'Little Kyoto' charm didn't particularly impress me, I still prefer Noto's unique character! 😄😄

11381400****Upon arrival, the sofa bed was already set up, making the room feel very spacious. The kitchen was fully equipped with pots, pans, an induction cooktop, coffee machine, kettle, range hood, dishwasher, dish soap, and dishcloths – everything you could need. The toilet was separate from the washroom and shower. The shower had great water pressure. I didn't notice any skincare amenities provided in the room, but pajamas, toothbrushes, and razors were available for guests to pick up in the lobby. The lobby featured a spacious lounge and reading area, along with a drink vending machine. Downstairs and a right turn led directly to a food mall. Across a small street, to the left were a hair salon and an excellent seafood restaurant, while to the right was Hyakubangai shopping street. The front desk staff, who I believe was from Southeast Asia, could communicate well in English and had a pleasant demeanor. On a side note, here are some Kanazawa sightseeing recommendations. My child's top pick was Myoryuji Temple. It was reportedly built by the local lord as a covert defense against the central government, featuring many ingenious (though perhaps not very sturdy) hidden mechanisms. Many temples in that area were supposedly established for similar strategic purposes. My personal favorite was Nagamachi, near the Buke Yashiki (Samurai District). It's an area concentrated with former samurai residences – imagine a beautiful Japanese version of a historic mansion district like the Yuyuan Road or Huashan Hospital area in Shanghai. Scattered nearby are art shops, small museums detailing local history, and craft galleries. It’s quite fascinating to explore and learn about Kanazawa's past. There's also a small alley, possibly only open in the evenings, with yakitori izakayas called 'Hashi-something' (Bridge-something)? Higashi Chaya District, on the other hand, felt a bit like a 'tourist street' – the kind you find in many cities, whether genuinely old or a recreation – with somewhat homogenous merchandise. Still, it's very picturesque for photos. The Asano River itself was just like any small river in a Japanese provincial town, with scenery not quite comparable to the impressive urban riverfronts back home in China.

LLieu Munn LoongMy wife and I have had a 3-night stay at this Hotel Wing International Premium Kanazawa Ekimae Room #1105 from 8 to 11 October 2025. The Hotel is just a 5-minute walk away from the Kanazawa Station (which has a beautiful structure called the Drum Gate). Its reception is located on the 13th Floor, and it has limited parking lots on the 1st Floor. So we are grateful and thankful that we were given a lot for just ¥1000 per day for 3 days. The Hotel staff are polite and helpful, and are able to communicate in English. As the Hotel is located right in the city centre, so shopping centres with food courts are within walking distance, and it is about a 15-minute walk to the popular Omicho Market and the historic old town site. The hotel room is the standard typical type whereby it is small but very clean. The bed and pillows are comfortable for our liking, and the bathroom - again the typical Japanese type - is clean and its has strong water pressure for a comfortable shower. The Hotel also provides free drinks (coffee and green tea) at the reception throughout morning till night. At SGD S$68 per night, we find it very value for money, and we will choose to stay here if we travel to Kanazawa again.

DDodoandrobinThe hotel is old and the room is clean but not well cleaned especially the corners of the room. The room is old and dull and the toilet smells bad. The balcony is covered with bamboo screen which make hard to see the outside. We can see the balcony is not well cleaned and the rooftop of the building is not well cleaned, too. If they clean the balcony and rooftop it will make a big difference. The fence at the balcony is worn out if they repainted it,it will be very beautiful seeing from the inside. I dont care if the building is old but they should keep it well cleaned and more presentable and im sure people will come again. The food is good and the bathing facilities is also good but its too hot no air at all, i didnt stay long because i cant breath i wish they open the window for fresh air to come. the atmosphere from the window the dried mold of the rooftop and the worn out of the balcony fence should be fix.The place is very quiet and you can really relax. The main entrance and ground floor is renovated and its nice and modern. The service is good too but the clerks are not lively they should be more cheerful. If the room is not dull and the balcony and rooftop is clean i want to stay again but sorry i wont stay here again. Thank you for your service and Goodluck.

MMagnus TanThe dorm was quite tricky to find on the sidewalk, walking from JR Kanazawa station, the sign was on a wall behind me, in the walkway leading into the building it was. One should look out to the left once you’ve reached the building. There were no staff when I checked in late at night around 10pm, but I received an email beforehand detailing the guest forms I should fill up and some other information. Once I arrived, there were other clear instructions about my bunk, luggage storage and house rules. The entry area had several books and leaflets about the area and a map indicating eateries and sightseeing locations recommended by staff, a useful touch. Some of it were in English too. The bunk was perfectly acceptable for a quick night sleep. The bed was wide and had lockable lockers to the side. Refreshments like drinks, snacks and noodles were also available for a small fee and payment was done via a tin box. Overall, very good value for money and it provided an opportunity to chat with other travellers staying by there. I chatted with someone from Taiwan and a local working at Kanazawa station’s tourist information centre. He was snowed in for the night and it’s worth noting that, it would be a struggle to haul luggage through heavy snow on the way to the property.

11381809****This hotel boasts an excellent location, right in front and to the left of Kanazawa Station's East Exit. The hotel name is also clearly visible, making it very convenient for transportation. The design is sleek and modern, and the rooms are comfortable and just the right size. The only minor inconvenience was adjusting the water temperature for the shower, as you have to manually mix hot and cold water to get your desired temperature.

IiYunyunThe hotel’s location is excellent — very easy to find and just a short walk from the train station, which made it super convenient. It’s also close to a shopping mall that has everything you need. I really loved staying here and would definitely choose this place again if I visit this city in the future. Most importantly, the amenities were outstanding, especially the salt bath — I was truly impressed! After using it, my skin felt so soft. I absolutely loved it!
