I got upgraded to another room so I was thankful for that !
The room smelled a bit (moldish) even though the guests already there had opened the window but by night, it got better.
Otherwise, the room was big and had a heater which was really convenient.
I was happy to see a sink in the room but it wasn't usable unfortunately. I thought it would have been nice!
The kitchen is well equipped, there are books available in the dining room!
Emplacement is very good, close to the train station and a few activities.
Overall the stay was great in a great location. However they don't provide toiletries, so you have to bring your own or buy from the supermarket. The room is no air conditioning in the room so if it gets hot you can only depend on opening the balcony door, and there is an old style wall heater.
This is a small place, don't make too many demands. The hotel is a super historic hotel, things are relatively old, don't mess it up. The proprietress is also very friendly and tells you all the information. Of course, wifi does not work well. . I am the spark phone booth outside. Of course, if you change your mindset, look at the scenery more and use less Wi-Fi. Make dinner by yourself and cook everything. Opposite is the lake with nice scenery, it's good to go for a walk.
Very warm color, very complete facilities. Spa kayaking mountain bike, convenient to stay, room has radiators. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything. Although the toilet and bathroom are shared, it is very clean! There are kittens and puppies. I met the cow at night and I was very happy to play with it for a while! Very close to the big supermarket and the town center. Very recommended! Check-out time is basically before 10 o'clock
Very convenient hotel with parking. The owner was very friendly and provided extra milk as a service. The place also had a small kitchen with all amenities. Next to the hotel there is a large supermarket, so very convenient. Would be happy to stay again.
He said that only PM8:00 former check in, that 's why they are cheap
Later, we kindly introduced us to what we can play around.
There is a kitchen, billiard room, and piano guitar to play.
It was fun to have a ** atmosphere at night!
Originally thought that the room would be very narrow, the bed was stable, and there was a sink.
No hair dryer, hair dryer!
Recommended to stay! ! Just pay attention to check in time not be late
This is the only youth hostel on this trip, but the conditions are not bad. We booked a room with a private bathroom, one of the three rooms, and shared the kitchen and living room area. The guests were very quiet and no sound could be heard. The small kitchen was fully equipped with kitchenware, and it is said that the hotel has a larger kitchen.
Got in late and left early. Met by the very friendly owner and shown to my room and the features were well explained.
The room was spacious, clean, well appointed and the bed very comfortable.
In spite of the motel being on the main road and me being in the room closest to the road I noticed little or no traffic noise.
We came here to stay by train. Although the motel is not very new, it has everything. There are supermarkets and daily necessities stores at the foot of the mountain. It takes about ten minutes to walk there. When the sidewalk is about to disappear, there is a trail connecting it in a hidden place, and you can walk to the parking lot of the grocery store.
The hotel can pick you up at the train station, which is actually very suitable for people like us who have big luggage from overseas and don’t have a car. recommend
When booking the motel, it was stated that it was for 4 adults. When I checked in, I found that there was only one room and a bunk bed in the living room, which was not very comfortable. In addition, the toilet is in the room, and someone will be woken up when going to the toilet at night. It is not suitable for more than 2 people to stay.
Very Good

Great
SSparkling ❤️Location was decent for a small town, with a mini mart nearby and several dining options around.
The staff were very nice and friendly. One of my family members wasn’t sure how to use the heated blanket, so they didn’t take it out, which made it look like the room wasn’t used. The next day, the staff actually called to check if we were okay, as they were concerned we might have caught a cold from not using the heated blanket. I thought that was a really thoughtful gesture.
FFeibendeqie5527After arriving, because the water pump of the hotel we booked was being repaired, the boss contacted another nearby hotel in advance for the day's travelers. The room was very good and it was a business hotel. It was upgraded🌝
GGuest UserOverall the stay was great in a great location. However they don't provide toiletries, so you have to bring your own or buy from the supermarket. FFedeleWe really enjoyed the our short stay here. We got he suite room with the private bathrooom and was great. Everything is clean and very well organized. Two minutes walk from the helicopter ride. We have enjoyed cooking on site. There’s a big shared kitchen well equipped, fridge available to store stuff. In case nearby and walking distance several options for dining. Strongly suggested.
GGuest UserWe arrived around 9pm ish and the property was quite dark. The reception desk had a note stick on the door indicating our room assignment. We had booked 2 rooms, but unfortunately, both had bugs (moths) in them.
Since we arrived late, there were no open stores or restaurants nearby, not even a convenience store. We found a nearby bar online that was advertised as being open until 1am, but when we called, they informed us they were closing early due to a quiet night. However, they were kind and prepared some chips, samosas and spring rolls for us, which we appreciated as it was our only option for dinner.
For future guests arriving late, I highly recommend advising them to purchase food in advance.
SSandraHoRimu Lodge was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived, the owner, Sue Allen, made us feel incredibly welcome. Our room was beautifully decorated and offered a breathtaking view, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere. Every detail was thoughtfully curated—from the fresh milk for our tea and coffee to the complimentary drinks and chocolates, all adding to the sense of warmth and hospitality.
Breakfast was exceptional, with a delicious selection of cooked options to choose from. The entire experience was nothing short of wonderful. I highly recommend staying for at least two nights to fully appreciate the charm and comfort of this remarkable lodge.
MMattyFIt is alright, but not great - certainly it is worn around the edges. It is the first place I stayed in during my 3 week holiday with no fridge... So much for the by now warm riggers of beer I bought at breweries en route. The service was never with any kind of smile. The food in their restaurant was adequate and the beer was, to my taste, bland and unexciting. Staying here is not a disaster, but nor is it memorable. For the amount they must make (the room was not inexpensive) they could and should do better. But I guess it is a captive market in season, and ”just about good enough” is all they need to bother with.
GGuest UserThe male receptionist who greeted us was not particularly friendly; and only when we got to our first floor room did we read about a luggage service. The room was tastefully furnished and clean, and other staff we interacted with were friendly. However the biggest issue is that the walls between rooms are are paper thin so we could hear people next door and doors banging. This woke us up early on both nights we stayed. If you stay - bring ear plugs. There was a lounge with a bar - the bar was permanently closed so there was no where to get a hot or cold drink unless you went to a cafe down the road.
