All Moments About Bangkok Yai
Wat Pradu Chim Pli (Luang Pu Toh)
Wat Pradu Chim Pli is an ancient temple built since the reign of King Rama III. It is located on the banks of the Bangkok Yai Canal, Soi Petchkasem 15, Tha Phra. The temple has a large and beautiful ordination hall with a golden Buddha image and beautiful sculptures. There is a statue of Luang Pu Toh inside. Since the temple is located on the banks of the river, there is a place to feed catfish, a canal atmosphere, and old houses. This is another temple in Bangkok that is worth visiting.

Take a Breath café & eatery
Beautiful cafe and restaurant, unfortunately we arrived at morning 10am, the restaurant only opens at 11am, the cafe however is open starting from 7am, with pastries and cakes available, limited choices though. The flourless chocolate cake was really really good . Houjicha and iced chocolate were really rich and fragrant. It was a good experience. I will come back when I’m in Bangkok, just 30mins drive away from city centre.

Wat Pradu Chim Pli, pray for blessings from the sacred power of Luang Pu Toh
Pay homage to "Luang Pu Toh Inthasuwanno" or "Phra Ratcha Sangwaraphimon", the famous former abbot of Wat Pradu Chim Pli, a famous monk in the Thonburi area.
Wat Pradu Chim Pli was built in the late reign of King Nangklao, Rama III, and completed in the early reign of King Mongkut, Rama IV, a total of 8 years. Somdet Chao Phraya Borom Maha Phichaiyat was the chairman of the construction or establishment when he held the title of Phra Si Phiphatnarat Ratchakosa (That Bunnag).

Food Heaven
The food in bangkok was amazing and you can find good food almost anywhere. From restaurants to street vendors, I did not lack options or had one bad meal. My favourite part was the street food at the night market. With so much variety I attempted to try most things but failed, I had to come back the next day!
💚 BRING YOUR OWN BAG 💚
#greentrip - What I always recommend to travellers is to BYOB - Bring Your Own Bag during overseas trip! For us ladies who shop a lot from makeup to clothes to cosmetics, having an eco tote is extremely important so that we can reduce the plastic usage :)
As for me, this foldable eco tote has been with me for the last 9 years since 2013 and it can hold like so many groceries even as I was shopping in Big C in Thailand where I had 100 sachets of espresso alongside many other groceries inside 😂
Save the earth, make our world a better place by reducing plastic usage 🥰💚
Moreover, carrying one big bag would be more convenient and better.
tip: get a caribena and attach it to your bag!
Go get your eco tote today! #GreenLiving

Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchaworamahawihan
Wat Arun Ratchawararam, popularly known as Wat Chaeng or simply Wat Arun, is located at 158 Wang Derm Road, Wat Arun Subdistrict, Bangkok Yai District, Bangkok 10600, Thailand. It is an ancient temple that people all over the world know. It stands out for its beautiful prang and architecture. It is one of the temples in Bangkok, built during the Ayutthaya period. The name Wat Chaeng came from the fact that King Taksin returned in the morning after his army had finished fighting. It is said that it was originally called Wat Makok and later became Wat Makok Nok because another temple was built in the same subdistrict. In addition, there are smaller prangs surrounding the large prang. Each prang is decorated with glazed tiles, Benjarong porcelain, and shells, with gold trim. Tourists can go up to the balcony on the prang to see the surrounding scenery. Open from 6:00-18:00. #staycation
Temple of the golden Buddha.
Wat Traimit is said to be the world’s largest solid-gold Buddha in Bangkok. The easiest way to get to Wat Traimit by public transport is to take the MRT metro to Hualamphong. Use Exit 1 and it’s a 5-minute walk along the road named Thanon Mitthaphap Thai-China. The recommended sightseen time is between one to two hours. The place is very well maintained, clean and beautiful ornate buildings. The dimensions of the ‘Phra Sukhothai Traimit’ statue are impressive: more than 3 metres tall and weighing over 5 tons It opens to the public everyday from 9am to 5pm.

Important temples during the reign of King Taksin the Great✨️

#WatNakKlang
📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
During the reign of King Taksin the Great, the country was at war, lacking resources, and craftsmen were taken to Burma, making it difficult to restore and renovate temples.
Wat Nak Klang is a temple located on Itsaraphap Road, Bang Kho Lae District, Bangkok, near the royal palace at that time. It was formed by combining Wat Nak and Wat Noi.
The area around the temple is an ancient community. There is a shrine of King Taksin the Great with the largest statue of the Buddha.
Currently, it is a cultural tourist attraction, a homestay, and a cafe that is popular with foreign tourists because it is close to many tourist attractions.
Pay homage to King Taksin at Wat Nak Klang.

#watnaklang
📞Hello Hello, I heard it and answered.
Watnaklang is located on Arun Amarin Road, along the Mon Canal. During the reign of King Taksin the Great, this temple was in the royal palace area, so it was very important.
The ordination hall enshrines Luang Pho Phra Phuttha Prasit, with graceful and beautiful murals.
You can pay homage🙏to King Taksin the Great at the Sutham Phawana Hall, where there are 9 and a half postures of statues, one of which is only half-body.
Many sacred objects in the temple should appeal to those who believe in spirituality.
Wat Molilokyaram in the Old Palace✨️

#WatMolilokkayaram
📞Hello Hello, I heard and answered.
Wat Molilokyaram Ratchaworawihan is a temple located on the riverside. There is a pier and it is also a temple located in the old palace area. Therefore, there are no monks residing. The temple is still near Wat Arun Ratchawararam.
It was originally called Wat Tai Talat. During the reign of King Rama II, this temple was a place of study for the royal sons.
At present, the temple has a large number of novices who come to study. It looks like a youth camp. There are tents set up in addition to the monks' huts.
It is a pity that the church and the temple are beautiful. The view should be improved to look cleaner.
Discover the Best Photo Spots at Wat Paknam in Bangkok
If you're visiting Bangkok, don't miss the stunning 6-meter tall handcrafted bronze Buddha at Wat Paknam. It's truly a sight to behold! Here are some popular photo spots that won't require much walking.
1. Buddha in the Alley
- Address: 60 Phet Kasem 15 Alley, Lane 9, Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok 10160
- As you walk through the alley, you'll find several spots to take photos. At the end, you'll reach the Shipyard Café.
2. Buddha from the Overpass
- Address: Lat ya 8 alley
- This spot is easy to miss. Look for the 7-Eleven under the overpass. It's best to wait until sunset for the perfect shot. You'll need a telephoto lens (at least 400mm) for this spot.
3. Buddha by the Water
- Address: 796 Soi Thoet Thai 26
- This spot offers a better view than the Shipyard Café. It's located at an elderly lady's doorstep, so be respectful. We gave her 20 baht, and she was very accommodating.
4. Shipyard Café
- Address: Walk straight through the alley until the end.
- Enjoy coffee with a view of the Buddha. You can book a boat to Wat Paknam, with options for a 15-minute ride directly to the temple (150 baht/person) or a 30-minute ride with photo opportunities (200 baht/person).
5. Looking Up at the Buddha
- Address: Wat Paknam Bhasicharoen Bangkok
- Inside Wat Paknam, you can capture the Buddha from below. Use your ticket to access this spot. You can also find various angles of the Buddha along the riverside.
6. Other Spots (not visited due to time constraints)
- TT Coffee offers views of both Wat Paknam Buddha and Wat Arun. Located at At Talat Philu, you need to order to access the rooftop. It's a 5-minute walk from the riverside spot, perfect for a break.
Suggested Route:
- Taxi to the alley (10-minute walk) → Shipyard Café (15-minute boat ride) → Wat Paknam (10-minute walk) → Riverside spot (taxi) → Overpass

Bangkok's Wat Phra Buddha: The Ultimate Photo Guide!
The Wat Phra Buddha in Bangkok is a stunning sight, but capturing it with the sunset in the background is a myth. Many online photos are heavily edited, showing colors that even locals have never seen. Despite this, the 69-meter tall Buddha, sitting serenely and overlooking the city, is truly awe-inspiring. Here are some recommended photo spots:
1. Tha Phra: Head to the third floor for a view that requires a telephoto lens.
Difficulty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
2. 60 Phet Kasem 15 Alley, Lane 9, Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok Yai: This alley offers a unique perspective of the Buddha amidst the cityscape.
Difficulty: ⭐️
3. Shipyard Coffee: Located by the river, entry costs 20 baht, which can be redeemed for drinks or boat tickets.
Difficulty: ⭐️
4. 796 Soi Thoet Thai 26: Accessible by boat from Shipyard Coffee, costing 100 baht for two.
Difficulty: ⭐️
5. Bangkok Yai District Office: Capture the Buddha with the river from the bridge. This spot is dangerous and requires a telephoto lens.
Difficulty: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
6. Talat Phlu Train Station: Discover a local train night market, also a film location for "Grandma's Grandson." Enjoy the best basil rice in Thailand here.
Avoid the 8 Lat ya rd bridge due to inconvenient access and heavily edited photos. A super telephoto lens is necessary, making it unsuitable for phone cameras.

I visited Bangkok, Thailand.
You can taste Thai noodles 🍜
5 Stars Beef Stew Noodle ร้านเนื้อตุ๋นน้ำแดง 5 stars
📍61/12 Phetkasem Sai Kao Rd, Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok 10600, Thailand
The beef soup has the aroma of Chinese herbs and Japanese pepper, and is a thick liquid.
Unlike ordinary noodle soup, it is not too salty and easy to drink.
Try the fermented meat, tongue, tendons, fried shrimp ends, innards, etc.
Price of noodles 75-95 baht
Hot pot 200 baht and up
I like the tongue the best.
The meat is tender and has a rich flavor.
It's about 400 meters from MRT Tha Phra Station, so it's very convenient.
There is parking space for 2-3 cars in front of the restaurant.

I visited Bangkok Yai in Bangkok, Thailand.
☕️Lekaround Coffee & Bakery
The shop is located near MRT Tha Phra station, and there is a small parking lot in front of the shop, so it is very convenient.
They seem to be particular about their coffee beans, and you can choose from a wide variety.
📍129, 35 Phet Kasem Rd, Wat Tha Phra, Bangkok Yai, Bangkok 10600, Thailand
I tried lek×Arkom Coffee from Passionate Roasting.
It's a little sour and very rich!
It costs 85 baht.
Try the orange tea.
Thai orange tea + fresh orange juice, very refreshing.
Bangkok yai. Really attractive place

Wat Nak Klang
Wat Nak Klang is located in Soi Nak Klang, in the middle of the Wat Nak Klang community. There are homestays that are popular among foreign tourists because they have a canal-side atmosphere, but it is not far from shopping areas and tourist attractions.
This temple was important during the Thonburi period as it was near the royal palace. However, at that time, the country was just recovering from war, so the temple lacked continuity in its restoration.
This temple has 9 and a half statues of King Taksin the Great: riding a horse in the Wongwian Yai style, riding a horse in the Chanthaburi style, sitting in the city, going to war, wearing royal uniform, walking meditation, ordaining, and a half-body statue. It is another interesting temple.
Secret bar with great vibes! Rooftop area, Thonburi side
#Songkran2024Travel
Wacharaphirom 🩷 A secret bar in Thonburi, hidden in Soi Charansanitwong 13, near Phutthamonthon Sai 1.
Upstairs, you will smell the enchanting aroma. When you enter the shop, let me tell you that the decoration is very beautiful! There is also a homemade pasta made by a chef from Dusit Thani. It is better than expected.
Here, they have games to play, whether it is Nintendo or board games, there are plenty to choose from!
There is also a rooftop where you can come out to get some fresh air and enjoy the view. And the view from the rooftop is very good. There are no buildings blocking the view. I like it very much!
TOASTO Cafe & Bakery
Toasto cafe & bakery is a shop that I had the chance to try when there was a fandom meetup event. But I have to say that I was very impressed by this shop. The atmosphere is nice, the air conditioning is cool. It is a cafe with a theme that is decorated very cutely. The atmosphere at the event at that time was the best. It is a vibe that I still feel impressed with every time I think about it. The food is excellent. There are many sweet lovers. The drinks are delicious. The price is medium. You will not be disappointed. #Pointing out delicious restaurants #Tell about delicious food #Must-visit cafes #Cafe review #Bangkok cafe review #Review of nice cafes

Hidden cafe at Bangkok
This place is a hidden gem at Bangkok and it’s a 🤩👍🏻 for all those cafe lovers! The place is absolutely stunning! The cafe has a Moroccan theme and I was impressed by the decor and atmosphere. The colorful tiles and lanterns created a cozy and exotic ambiance. I took so many photos there as there are so many unique different photo spots!
Overall, I would recommend this cafe for its unique decor and theme, but do not expect the food & drinks to be exceptional!
It is a bit far from Bangkok’s city centre in Bang Na, but you can easily get here via Grab (not expensive as well)! The half way point is Ekkamai!
