The kitchen staff and housekeeping staff are excellent and very attentive to guests. 🔆Location: The hotel is next to a university and is very quiet. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station. 🔆Environment: Beautiful, modern, clean hotel, very large rooms, very pleasant restaurant terrace, convenient ground parking lot.

Rambla de Mar, an extension of La Rambla, stretches across the old fishing port of Barcelona. The wavy wooden walkway passes by the Columbus Monument and connects to the Maremagnum shopping center and the Barcelona Aquarium. Visiting in the late afternoon as the sun begins to set, the bright light allows you to enjoy views of sailboats and various maritime activities. Seagulls rest along the way, and the coastal art installations make for great photo opportunities, making the walk very pleasant. At dusk, the sunset reflects on the old port's waters, creating a picture-perfect scene. It's a popular spot for locals to stroll and relax.

La Pobla de Lillet, 2 hours drive north from Barcelona, is a small mountain village nestled in between valleys and crossed by the Llobregat river. 🏔️ It boasts excellent local cuisine and typical mountain architectural features: like cobblestone covered streets, tilted black roofs and stone walls. 🌲 Amazingly, through the tourist office you can get the key to climb up the bell tower of the church, quite a unique experience that will allow you enjoy the views of the village from the top. 🔔 La Pobla de Lillet is a great chance for a tranquil getaway not too far from Barcelona, and extra tip: it holds a secret garden that was designed by Catalan master architect Antoni Gaudí, more about this in another post, be sure yo check it out 😊 #localescapes

Park Güell is one of the famous attractions in Barcelona. I will say this is the most beautiful park in Barcelona and you must add this place In your travel list. This building is built by Antoni Gaudí and the architecture is absolutely amazing. As you see from the picture, the park is spectacular with different shapes of rocks and the way they built together is just fantastic. Barcelona has successfully blended the old and the new in a way that makes this city simply breathtakingly beautiful. St. Paul's Hospital is not far from the Sagrada Famlia. It takes only a few minutes to walk. The original site is an 11th-century pilgrim hospital. It is now called the modernist building complex with a strong Islamic style and is known as in the city. Barcelona not only has the Gaudi trifecta, but also the charming Tibidabo Mountain! Here, you can enjoy the city view of Barcelona and the Mediterranean coastline. You can also visit the Catholic church on the top of the mountain ⛪️ Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and the amusement park on the top of the mountain. 🚗 Transportation: You can drive (30 minutes from the city) or take a bus (1 hour and 20 minutes from the city center) directly to Tibidabo Mountain. ⛰ The name of Tibidabo Mountain comes from the Latin version of the Bible, which quotes what the devil said to Jesus. Tibidabo means "I give you". At the top of the hill is the Basilica of the Sacred Heart, and rumor has it that the Catholic Church decided to build a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, which is how the church got its name. 💰The interior visit of the church is free, but you need to buy a ticket to take the elevator to the top to see the statue of Jesus and other statues of gods (5 euros, not expensive at all). The master will first take the elevator to the top, and after visiting the platform, take the spiral staircase to the top to see the statue of Jesus. After the meeting, take the elevator down to the second floor sightseeing platform. 🎠You can enter the amusement park below the church for free. You can go to the observation deck to see the Mediterranean scenery, or you can eat snacks in the amusement park (they are all very sweet, basically chocolate or fried fast food). Visiting Park Güell is truly an amazing experience! As soon as I entered, I was amazed by the colorful mosaic decorations. The whole park seemed to be moved out of a fairy tale world, so dreamy! What impressed me most was the huge mosaic lizard sculpture, which is simply the signature of the park! Everyone was taking pictures there, and I couldn't help but take a photo with it. I felt like I had entered a fantasy story. There is also a long mosaic bench with a very special curved shape. Sitting on it, you can overlook the entire Barcelona scenery. The view is very wide and the wind blowing is very comfortable! There are also many buildings and corridors designed by Gaudi in the park. They are like caves built out of stones. Walking into them feels like an adventure, and there are surprises at every step! Moreover, the whole park is full of natural atmosphere, with shady trees, singing birds and fragrant flowers. When you are tired, you can find a place to sit down and rest. It is super comfortable. The only drawback is that I didn't book the ticket in advance, and I had to queue for a long time at the park entrance before I could buy a ticket to enter the park.
