A quiet corner of Barcelona: Casa Amatje

Located in one of Barcelona's "incongruous neighbourhoods", it has always been relatively low-key compared to Gaudí's Casa Batlló. The first thing I saw when I entered the door was the tall wooden beam vaulted ceiling. I continued to explore and was pleasantly surprised. Stained glass windows, gorgeous chandeliers, hand-painted tile walls, various wood carvings... Every room exudes luxury and elegance, as if traveling back to the aristocratic era of the 19th century. When visiting Amatye’s House, you can see his collection of glass bottles and photographs, which seem like dusty memories telling the stories of that era.
