[Izu Numazu] Ranked #1 in Japan's most beautiful seas✨ Mysterious torii gates and shrines⛩️
I heard that there was a nice cape and shrine near the inn where I was staying, so I decided to take a walk there 🚶
The whole trip took about an hour ⏳
I just happened to come here without doing any research, but it was so beautiful ❤️
First, follow the road and you will see a lighthouse, so walk to that landmark
On the way to the inner sea and the beach from there, you will find "Morokuchi Shrine" ⛩️
The shrine's torii gate is built close to the beach, and on some days you can take a miraculous three-shot of the sea, torii gate, and Mt. Fuji, as shown in the photo! ️
The beach is an inland sea, so it is calm, and the water is crystal clear, so it's just too beautiful 😊
I looked it up and found that four beaches in Numazu City have been selected as the "best water quality" beaches, out of only eight in the country! It was an impressive place 🥹
This beach and Cape Mihama have been ranked number one in the ranking of the most beautiful beaches in Japan 🌊
If you are traveling nearby, please be sure to visit ✨

Nishiyo@Numazu🐟
I went to the popular restaurant "Nishiyo" in Numazu Port for lunch!
It was lunchtime so we had to wait in line for about 30 minutes, but it was worth it✨
The seafood bowl, made with fresh seafood landed at Numazu Port, had a plump and delicious sashimi taste🤤
This time, I ordered the Nishiyo bowl and the horse mackerel tataki bowl, but the horse mackerel fry seems to be very popular as well🐟

[Numazu Gourmet] Kanehachi is a place where you can eat delicious seafood
Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Numazu Kanehachi is located at Numazu Port.
The interior of the restaurant is luxurious and stylish, and it is a very comfortable restaurant.
It is a comfortable restaurant that is easy for women to enter alone. This time, I was wondering whether to have a seafood bowl, but I wanted to drink alcohol, so I ordered a variety of items separately.
When I visited the restaurant after 1:00 pm on a weekday, it was almost full.
The sashimi and sushi were very fresh and delicious.
And the price is also reasonable, so I'm grateful.
I highly recommend it, so please visit it.

A glamping facility based on the concept of a park where you can stay overnight
"INN THE PARK" is a glamping facility that was renovated from the "Youth Nature House" that has been loved for over 30 years in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture!
It has a vast natural space of about 600,000 m2, comparable to Yoyogi Park, and what is particularly eye-catching is the "spherical tent" floating quietly in the forest. At night, the lights of the spherical tent create a fantastic landscape.
It was a wonderful place where you could stay comfortably in the middle of nature, and the extraordinary space spread out, making it a special experience.

Awashima Marine Park: See the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji!
I went to Awashima Marine Park, a small uninhabited island in Izu, Shizuoka Prefecture!
The entire island is a marine park, and after buying a ticket, you can travel to the island on a special boat🚤
The aquarium is not that big, but it has exhibits that you can't see anywhere else, such as deep-sea fish from Numazu, which is very interesting! It was a warm aquarium that made use of the characteristics of the region and had many comments from the keepers♪
The frog museum, where frogs from around the world gather, is also a must-see🐸

An ocean view hot spring inn overlooking Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji
This is Shotokan.
The rooms are beautiful and calming, with a modern Japanese design, and from every room you can see Suruga Bay, Mt. Fuji, and Awashima Island. They also have a semi-open-air bath, so you can relax while taking in the amazing view♪
All the meals we had in our rooms were delicious, too.
There is also an open-air observation bath and a private bath, so you can enjoy it to the fullest!

Passing through the beach, a red torii gate stands quietly at the tip of the cape. The contrast between the green and the blue of the sea was very beautiful. The water was crystal clear. The beach is also a swimming beach.

Mysterious deep sea fish 🐟
Numazu Port Deep Sea Aquarium in Numazu City 🐟
The entire aquarium was dimly lit, creating a mysterious atmosphere.
There were many deep sea creatures with different body shapes, colors, and personalities.
Some of the passageways are a little narrow, so it may be difficult for strollers or wheelchairs to pass through.
Please be careful not to fall. #coupletrip #aquarium #deepseaaquarium #familytrip

A hotel where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from the lounge and rooms
Nishiizu Dining Koyoi is located near Toda Port in Nishiizu.
This time, I booked for the purpose of a cost-effective trip, but it was even nicer than I expected✨
First of all, the lounge right after arriving has a panoramic view of the sea, and while watching the sun go down, you can enjoy a welcome drink of wine inspired by the sunset or a soda inspired by the deep sea. What a wonderful time.
It is a nice point that you can choose your favorite color yukata, although it is only for women!
For dinner, there was a live abalone 🥹 that was so lively that it tried to escape from the pot. Lol
The sashimi was very delicious, and all the other dishes were very delicious and I was full. To finish, we had rice with wasabi called tear rice, and the delicious aroma of wasabi was irresistible.
For breakfast, we had lots of rice accompaniments, freshly cooked rice, and seaweed miso soup. I was full so I gave up on second servings, but all the rice accompaniments were so delicious that I wanted to have three more bowls 🥲
The hot springs were nice and the staff were lovely 🙆♀️
The room was a little old, but it was comfortable and the sunset and the sea were beautiful!
From 13,000 yen per person (this price included two meals during Golden Week 😳)

[Numazu] Delicious Japanese Tea Research Institute
I went to the Japanese Tea Research Institute in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture.
Chatsutei, a tea shop that has been in business for over 100 years, has launched a new brand, the Delicious Japanese Tea Research Institute, in addition to the traditional tea shop that processes and sells tea.
Based in Numazu, Shizuoka Prefecture, it has been developing various tea products since its founding in 1909 with the philosophy of "continuing to convey the true deliciousness of Japanese tea." It's an interesting shop.
It's a photogenic spot that is irresistible for Japanese tea lovers!

[Shizuoka/Numazu] Uogashi Maruten
Store name: Uogashi Maruten Uogashi Store
Recommended points: The portions are very generous, so even if you're a woman and think "I can handle it," I recommend ordering less rice. The fish is also very generous, so you'll be full. You won't be able to eat dessert.
Price: This volume, number of ingredients, and fish soup set cost less than 2,000 yen!! Very satisfied!!
It's not related to seafood, but the gelato after the meal was also delicious~
The seafood bowl was so full that it was all we could do to eat the gelato for three people. .
Next time, I'll try the undersea pudding🍮

I went to a super cheap bakery where everything was 100 yen!
Today, I was able to get the daily discounted bread for just 80 yen!
I tried curry bread, which is the most popular item.
It was crispy and delicious.

Hara, Numa
Hara, Numazu is a small village in Numazu City, Shizuoka. It is a quite and a distinct place. However, this small village is a beauty when one know how to simply look and appreciate things.
For one, during Spring, Hara is a parade of beautiful Cherry Blossoms by the river. Hara also has a lot of remnants of the 1800s, such as the bridge watch tower shown in the pictures. Hara is also a lush green village where you can see a lot if nature.

The Ukishima Himawari Land (浮島ひまわりらんど) is a flower viewing location in Hara, Numazu City. It prides itself with its beautiful Sunflowers. Unfortunately, when I visited there, it was already the end of August. Thus, the Sunflowers have already died and withered. Therefore, my tip for the visitors, make sure to visit from end of July to the middle of August for you to be able to see the beautiful Sunflowers standing tall and alive.
The location is only reachable by private car.

A spring park and the castle
#springwander
The site of Nagahama Castle, which was abandoned in the Edo period, was developed as a park in 1909 (Meiji 42). The name of the park is named after Toyotako by Hideyoshi Toyotomi, the lord of Nagahama Castle. In 1983 (Showa 58), Nagahama Castle, which reproduces the castle of the Azuchi-Momoyama period, was restored in the park and opened to the public as a history museum. In addition, there is a statue of Hideyoshi and a stone monument of "Taiko Ido" on the shore of Lake Biwa.
The park is surrounded by rich nature, and from late March to early April, there are about 150 red plums and white plums, azaleas from late April to early May, and fuji flowers bloom on the wisteria shelf in early May, which also delights the eyes.

[Shizuoka] Numazu, a seafood town with a view of Mt. Fuji
#Spring0yentrip
Numazu is a town located on the coast of Shizuoka Prefecture, rich in nature and seafood. The first place we visited was Numazu Port. The area around the port is full of life, with markets and restaurants where you can enjoy fresh seafood on the spot, and the seafood bowls were especially delicious. In Numazu, we were able to board a sightseeing boat and spend a relaxing time looking at the beautiful sea of Suruga Bay and Mt. Fuji in the distance. From the boat, we could look out over the coastline and small islands offshore, feel the refreshing sea breeze, and the explanations by the local guide were interesting. In addition, at the Numazu Port Deep Sea Aquarium, we were able to touch deep-sea creatures and the unique exhibits were interesting. Numazu is also a place where you can see Mt. Fuji in its entirety, and on a clear day the view was spectacular. At Numazu Imperial Villa Memorial Park, we enjoyed the historical buildings and gardens that Emperor Showa visited, and spent a relaxing time. Numazu was an attractive town with a good balance of seafood, nature, and historical spots.
