Lunch at Maruyoshi Noodle Factory was exceptional, as I felt the pleasant breeze of Osaka. The chicken tempura was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside, and the egg tempura had an exquisite melty yolk. The udon had a chewy texture and the flavor of the dashi soup was strong, satisfying both body and mind. The combination of the simple yet deep flavor of the udon and the freshly fried tempura was truly blissful. Hattoriryokuchitoshi Ryokka Botanical Gardens (yeah, long name, but it’s worth it) is basically a giant green space where you can just wander around and do absolutely nothing in the best way. There’s a ton of flowers, trees, and plants, like, every direction you look is just green and pretty. It’s super peaceful, not a lot of crowds, and you can totally zone out and relax. There are walking paths, little ponds, benches to sit on, and wide open spaces where you can lay out a blanket and chill. Perfect for a slow walk, some quiet thinking time, or just hanging out with friends. It’s also great for people-watching or reading under a tree. Nothing fancy, no rush, just a calm, easy place to spend a few hours doing whatever. Totally one of those hidden chill spots.
