The scones here were really delicious! And since this place is also used as a hostel, I recommend it if you want a unique experience. Magpie Cafe is really famous for its fish and chips. However, Whitby is much more than that. It's the place where Captain Cook set sail, and it flourished during the Age of Exploration. It's also the birthplace of vampire culture. 130 years ago, the Irish novelist Bram Stoker wrote the famous vampire novel *Dracula* in Whitby. · Whitby is not a big town, but half a day is still a rush. From the ancient abbey ruins to the bustling harbor and beach, it was undoubtedly the most memorable part of my trip to England. The weather was also very fitting. Many of England’s seaside resorts can be labelled as run down and dated, however one that has stood the test of time is North Yorkshire’s Whitby. The town made famous by Bram Stoker’s Dracula has plenty to keep you occupied from a visit to its imposing hilltop abbey, to wandering around its narrow streets and alleys to just taking a stroll along the beach. For those with a little more time and wanting to explore the outdoors the 6 mile coastal path to Robin Hood’s bay provides some spectacular scenery and if you don’t fancy the return leg there’s a frequent bus you can catch back to your start point. #whitby #yorkshire #seaside

Whitby is a very nice town. whole family enjoyed to walk alone the beach, really nice pier,very special compare woth other town. we had a lovely boat trip,just 5 pounds (wear warm jackets) spend a whole day there. We did a lot in the town, catch crabs with kids, we had great fish and chips. lovely weather and many place to eat. We enjoyed the nice walked up to Abbey. It is a super place with family. easy walked alone the coast line with excellent view.
