Whitby: An English seaside gem

Many of England’s seaside resorts can be labelled as run down and dated, however one that has stood the test of time is North Yorkshire’s Whitby. The town made famous by Bram Stoker’s Dracula has plenty to keep you occupied from a visit to its imposing hilltop abbey, to wandering around its narrow streets and alleys to just taking a stroll along the beach. For those with a little more time and wanting to explore the outdoors the 6 mile coastal path to Robin Hood’s bay provides some spectacular scenery and if you don’t fancy the return leg there’s a frequent bus you can catch back to your start point. #whitby #yorkshire #seaside
