The Louvre Abu Dhabi

The Louvre Abu Dhabi has a vast collection of treasures, bringing together all types of material artistic expression from the past to the present, covering ancient archaeological finds, objects, sculptures, paintings and contemporary installations from all over the globe 🌏 The museum covers a massive area and we realised it was ambitious of us to attempt exploring even half of it within 2 hours 😅 Still, whatever we managed to view was impressive, and it was clear that Abu Dhabi spared no effort in ensuring its very own Louvre became one of the country’s main attraction highlights, especially after learning that Abu Dhabi paid France 400 million euros to use the prestigious Louvre name for only a span of 30 years 🫢
