🇪🇹 Ethiopian Visa Tips

When traveling to Ethiopia you need a tourists visa. It is valid either for 30 days and costs 62$ or for 90 days and costs 162$. Please note: It is a single entry visa. There are 2 ways to get the visa: 1. Upon arrival in Addis-Ababa 2. Online through the official governmental website I recommend you to make it online which will save your time upon arrival. Documents needed for visa submitting: ✅ Recent passport-size photo 2’’*2’’ ✅Passport of the visa applicant should be valid for at least 6 months from the intended date of entry to Ethiopia. ✅when filling out the internet form you will also need the hotel information Payment is made through the online system as well. Another recommendation: print out your visa and hotel confirmation - you may be asked about them when passing through immigration and passport control.
