Drukumda Cafe in Aewol, Jeju Island

Drukumda, a recommended cafe in Aewol, Jeju Island, is divided into a main building and an annex. The interior is themed around Jeju Island, with accents of tangerine colors and decorated with various cute dolls and accessories, creating a cozy and charming atmosphere. At Drukumda Cafe, you can enjoy their signature menu item, the Icheon Rice Latte (8,000 KRW), along with coffee, tea, smoothies, ades, matcha latte, chocolate latte, strawberry latte, and corn cream latte. For bakery desserts, they offer "Kumda Malppangchurri," a horse-shaped bread filled with your choice of red bean paste, custard cream, ganache, Udo peanut cream, or farm milk cream, priced at 5,000–6,000 KRW each. While waiting for the Icheon Rice Latte and Kumda Malppangchurri, I explored the outdoor scenery from the main building. The view includes a reservoir next to Jeju Sosanbong, with cozy sofas for 2–3 people and warm heaters, making it a great spot to stay during winter. After receiving the ordered items, I headed to the annex, passing by an outdoor observation deck with views of the reservoir. On the day I visited Drukumda Cafe, I noticed many people walking their dogs, and the spacious area seemed ideal for children to play. The annex of Drukumda Cafe in Aewol is larger than the main building and features floor seating with slippers provided, as well as a bed photo zone for taking travel pictures. Additionally, the window seats are equipped with soft pumpkin-shaped sofas and tangerine-colored chairs. Like the main building, the annex offers beautiful photo opportunities with the reservoir as the backdrop.
