🏯 A Graceful Start to Our Journey – Tsurugajo Castle Charm

Tsurugajo Castle was our very first stop upon arriving in Japan from Narita, and although we only got there around 3pm, it was still a lovely way to start our trip. While the castle is a reconstruction and not the original, it’s beautifully done and definitely worth a visit—especially if you’re like us and have a soft spot for Japanese castles. The structure still carries that majestic presence and charm, and you can feel the historical weight even though it’s been rebuilt. What we really enjoyed was the scenic garden surrounding the castle. It’s well-kept, peaceful, and made for a perfect backdrop for photos. The late afternoon light added a warm glow to everything, which made the entire setting feel even more picturesque. We didn’t have time to explore the interior in depth, but walking around the grounds and taking in the architecture was already very rewarding.
