A drive to Ome to enjoy autumn leaves

We took a drive to see the autumn leaves in the Ome area of ​​Tokyo. Akiruno City is so rich in nature that you wouldn't think it's in Tokyo. First, we had breakfast at Komeda Coffee. It was my first time there, and they apparently serve free toast in the morning. It seemed like a bargain! The coffee was a Vienna Coffee with so much cream on it! We drove a little further to Kotoku-ji Temple. Kotoku-ji Temple has two large ginkgo trees, which are historic trees that have been selected as one of the 100 most scenic spots in Akiruno City. I think the most beautiful time is from late November to early December. There are many other things to see on the temple grounds, such as the tarayo tree and the mansion. For lunch, we went to Choju-an. We had a soba and tempura set. Warm soba warms the body. There is also a parking lot. For dessert, we had a cheesecake set from Sabo Mube. Every year, we enjoy tea and the garden at Sabo Mube. Mube looks like an old Japanese house, but the interior is a stylish mix of Japanese and Western styles. The tableware is lovely, and although there are only a few edible dishes on the menu, I love the atmosphere. Akiruno City is just the perfect distance for a short drive even for those living in Tokyo.
