The sunlight shines through the exquisite stained-glass windows, filling the entire space with a sacred and peaceful atmosphere. The most special thing about this mosque is that its construction is closely related to a woman - the Queen Mother Sultan Safiye Sultan. She promoted the construction project during the heyday of the Ottoman Empire, making it one of the most important religious and cultural landmarks of the time. Standing in the square outside the mosque, you can overlook the magnificent view of the Bosphorus Strait and feel the long history and diverse culture of Istanbul.
