A Fairytale in Southern Italy

I’ve wanted to visit Alberobello for so long and finally at the end of 2024 I can tick it off my bucket list. It really is a fairytale place. It’s so nice just walking around the streets and so interesting that many people still live in these Trulli. There are some great museums housed inside some of the larger Trulli complexes and there are people who even open their homes to tourists, so you can see how, even today people live in these dwellings some of which date from the 14th century. I arrived early morning via coach from Bari and there were hardly any tourists around, from late morning onwards it did start to get busier, so if possible I would advise arriving early for an even more magical experience. #trulli #trullihouses #alberobello #italy #bari #puglia #apulia
