Just as it was used by the residents who lived there before

#ThailandFlightEvent Trullo Sovrano, an exhibition hall where you can see how people used to live in the famous mushroom-shaped Trulli of Alberobello, has been restored to its original state, allowing you to learn about the lifestyles of Italians in the past. When you visit Alberobello, I recommend paying the 2.50 euro entrance fee and taking a look around. 📍Piazza Sacramento, 10, 70011 Alberobello BA, Italy #EuropeanTravel #OverseasTravel #italytravel

Puglia (Apulia in English) holds a special place in my heart. White is the dominant tone here, and you’ll find yourself in a constant summer mood all year long. Like most of Italy, you’ll see that there’s no shortage of Unesco sites here, and Alberobello is one of them. This town is famous for its “trulli”, ancient round houses made of stone with a conical roof. While you can find them everywhere driving in the countryside amid seas of olive trees, the ones in Alberobello are the most famous and colourful ones. Walking throughout the village you’ll find small shops with handcrafted products and souvenirs, plus delicious local products like “tarallucci”, “orecchiette”, and olive oil (probably the best olive oil you’ll ever taste in your life, as Puglia is home to more than a billion olive trees!). It’s been touristy nowadays so the place tends to be a little bit crowded, but you can’t really miss a stop here. #italy #italytravel #italybeauties #alberobello #travelinspiration #ancienttowns #awesomepic #puglia #travellist
