Museum of Contemporary Spanish Realism

Andalucia Tour ~ Almeria This is the newest of Almeria’s museums and it is located in Santa Magdalena, an old hospital in Almeria, built in the 16th century. It is spread over 2 floors and 13 galleries, 11 of which are dedicated to the permanent collection and the rest to temporary exhibitions. In it we can see important works (paintings, sculptures, drawings) by great artists such as: Sorolla, Zuloaga, Pinasso, Julio Romero, Isabel Quintanilla, Antonio López, among others. Its cultural programme includes theatre, music, dance and conferences.
