Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps 10th Division Shehuo Festival

Beitun City, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps 10th Division, was packed with people celebrating the New Year. The large-scale New Year Shehuo Festival, themed "Warmth in E River, New Year Celebration," was in full swing. 20 Shehuo performance teams from all walks of life gathered together to present a cultural feast of traditional folk customs and the spirit of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps to the citizens and tourists from all over the world. As the sound of gongs and drums suddenly rang out, the Shehuo team slowly marched forward. Leading the way were 4-meter-high stilt performers, who stood tall on stilts. The dragon and lion dances, yangko dances, and float parades were like a colorful cultural scroll slowly unfolding before the citizens. The Shehuo performers stepped to the festive beat of the drums, twisting, running, jumping, and dancing, fully displaying the charm of traditional folk culture, the spirit of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, and ethnic customs. Their unique performances showcased the joy of the New Year, and the wonderful performances drew cheers from the audience.
