Amamiko Shrine (Amamiko Shrine) 97 Setsuda, Kasari-cho, Amami City, Kagoshima Prefecture The deity worshipped here is Amamiko. The goddess who gave Amami its name is enshrined here. I stopped here on my way to Amandi, which is further ahead. I found out later that this place is said to be the most powerful power spot in Amami.
