One of the Finest in France!

I wasnt expecting such a good archelogical collection too from a regional museum. This is a museum with many things and not just paintings. It happens to be the main museum in both picardy and amiens. There are artefacts, wooden sculptures, and Egyptian items. Depending on your interest, it's very easy to spend two plus hours here. While it is one of the finest collections in France. The only thing is that there is a lack of information in english. Luckily for me, I was with someone who explained most of the things to me. When in Amiens, this place is definitely worth a stop. It's a fine insight into the history of the region too. #francetrip
