I started from Istanbul and took the night bus of sü ha company at 01:20 in the morning, and the ticket price was 180 lira. This bus is really comfortable. My first impression of this city is that there are far fewer people than in Istanbul, the streets are cleaner, and the locals seem more simple. Here, I feel a warmth and friendliness that is different from that in Istanbul. Next, I would like to recommend several must-see attractions in Ankara: 1. The Tomb of the Founding Father: This is a very representative attraction in Ankara, a bit like the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum in Nanjing. It was built mainly to commemorate Kemal, the founding father of Turkey, and has a history of more than 70 years. Although the exhibits inside are not particularly rich, the building is very magnificent. Since you are in Ankara, it is still worth visiting, and it's free. 2. Ankara Castle: You can climb to the highest point of the castle, where you can overlook the entire cityscape of Ankara. The scenery is amazing, the photos are great, and it's also free. 3. Melike Hatun Mosgue: The second largest mosque in Ankara, with exquisite interior decoration. When you walk into it, you can feel the strong religious atmosphere and unique architectural aesthetics. 4. Suluhan Bazaar: Highly recommended! This market is not far from Ankara Castle. I walked in by accident and found that the prices there were lower than I could imagine. One kilogram of cherries costs only 30 liras, and the prices of fruits, vegetables, meat, etc. are very affordable. I have been to many cities in Türkiye, but this is the first time I have seen such a cheap market. I must come and have a look. Finally, let me tell you about the transportation from the city to Ankara Airport. If you live close to Ankara Bus station, just go directly to the bus station and take bus No. 442. If you live far away, you can search for airport bus stop on the map to find the nearby bus stop. There is a 442 sign on the bus stop booth. The fare is 20 lira. Some bloggers said that it can only be paid by credit card, but in fact you can pay in cash. I just tested it myself. Ladies and gentlemen, Ankara is really an underrated treasure city.
