Antibes: My Go-To Spot for "Early Retirement" in the South of France! 🏖️

#summervacay I've visited the South of France so many times, always using Nice as my base to explore. I've gone east to Menton, Monaco, and Èze, and west to Cagnes, Saint-Paul-de-Vence, Antibes, and Cannes. But honestly? Compared to Monaco's flashy glam or Nice's bustling tourist vibes, Antibes Old Town is hands down the most authentic, with that incredible medieval charm! ✨ It just feels so wonderfully local. Travel Tip: You can totally stay in Nice and make it a day trip – Antibes Old Town is pretty small, and a day is definitely enough to wander around! Just remember to check the last train times! 🚂 But if you've got a bit more time, I highly recommend staying a night or two. Imagine just chilling in the old town like a local, heading to the harbor to find that perfect Monet-painting-esque view as the sun starts to set.
