The Ruins of Yin—A Treasure Trove of Human Civilization

Anyang is one of the eight ancient capitals, and the Ruins of Yin are the remains of the late Shang Dynasty's capital, discovered at the beginning of the 20th century. Excavations began in 1928, located on both banks of the Huan River in the northwest suburbs of Anyang City, Henan Province. The Yin Ruins Museum houses a large collection of bronze artifacts, represented by the 'Simuwu Ding' and the 'Zun of the Square Kui Ox', as well as the astonishing chariot and horse burial pits.
