Lakeside hotel in Ascona

The highlight of this hotel is that it is located right on the shores of Lake Maggiore. Some rooms have beautiful lake views. This time, we booked this room. ➡️ Double room on the south side with lake view without balcony This room is 24 square meters in size. It has a lake view from the window, but no balcony. If you want a balcony to sit and watch the lake, you have to book another room type at a higher price. But because we went in April, the weather was still cold, so we didn't think it was necessary. We wouldn't go out and sit in the cold anyway. The room was spotlessly clean. The bed was quite small but comfortable. The amenities were complete, and the heater was very warm. This is a hotel that has a restaurant on the ground floor. The cooking skills are outstanding. The breakfast is delicious with just fried eggs. The bread is good. There is yogurt, various fruits, ham, and cheese. What I like is that the restaurant has large windows. You can eat while enjoying the lake view outside. #TravelEurope #TravelSwitzerland
