Icon Bali: A New Shopping Mall in Sanur

Icon Bali is a newly opened shopping mall in Sanur, located about 40 minutes by taxi from Nusa Dua. Being a brand-new mall, it is very clean and stylish. While there are various brand stores, the prices didn’t seem attractive, so I decided to skip shopping. What stood out instead? The stunning sea view from the outdoor terrace A variety of restaurants It felt more like a space to enjoy the beautiful sea view and dining rather than a typical shopping mall. There’s also a well-maintained walking path in front of the mall, making it perfect for a leisurely stroll and a meal if you have some free time. EXCELSO Coffee is an Indonesian local franchise café located inside ICON BALI. The view is fantastic—if you sit on the terrace, you’ll have an unobstructed view of the sea right in front of you! However, the coffee itself wasn’t great. They sell coffee beans at the entrance, but honestly, I wouldn’t bother. Also, the terrace seating allows smoking, so the smell of cigarettes was overwhelming. Even my husband, who is a smoker, found it unpleasant. If you’re visiting with kids, I wouldn’t recommend the terrace seating. Still, it’s a nice spot to relax and enjoy the view. As for the Korean restaurant Gangnam: We ordered dishes like soft tofu stew, cold noodles, stir-fried pork, and calamari. The taste was average considering the price. It’s a decent option if you’re craving Korean food, but given the cost, I wouldn’t go back. Overall, Icon Bali is worth visiting for the view and a relaxing time rather than for shopping or dining.
