Ban Mai Market is located in Ban Mai Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chachoengsao Province. It is an old market that is over 100 years old. It is a community of Thai-Chinese people. As time passed, the importance of this riverside market still remains until today. It is a collection of delicious food of Paet Riw, both savory and sweet, and local food that is hard to find. It is a collection of souvenirs that you must stop by to buy as souvenirs before going home. It is closed only on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 08:30 to 17:00. When you arrive at the front of the market, if you bring your own car, you can park your car in front where there are many parking spaces available. Most of them charge 20 baht per car and can park all day long. Then walk across the road to Ban Mai Market. The atmosphere inside the market still preserves the old and classic wooden houses very well. Along both sides of the road are shops selling snacks, food, and various souvenirs.
