It is an ancient temple that the people of Chachoengsao have respected for a long time since it was first built by King Taksin the Great. When he led his army to attack Chanthaburi 🙄 The name of the temple, Jo Lo, came from King Taksin's plan to attack the Burmese soldiers by sailing a boat along the river to make the Burmese soldiers believe that he came alone. Then he had the soldiers surround and attack again until they won. So it was called Chao Lo, but later the pronunciation changed to Jo Lo. 🤩 The highlight of Wat Pak Nam Jo Lo is crawling under the base of the principal Buddha image to enhance good fortune.
