Wat Bang Yi Khan, an Ayutthaya temple hidden in Bangkok

It is not known when these names were given, or if they were the original names of Wat Bang Yi Khan that locals call it. It is believed to be an ancient temple since the middle Ayutthaya period. It received the royal charter of the boundary markers around 2172. - The ordination hall is in the shape of an Ayutthaya arched ship. Inside, there are many Buddha images on the same base. Inside, there are murals painted by artists in the late Ayutthaya period. However, they were repaired and added in the early Rattanakosin period during the reign of King Rama III.
