Spectacular Temple in BKK Wat Arun

Wat Arun Temple also known as the Temple of Dawn for its magnificent towers! Located along the beautiful Chao Phraya River really beautiful and picturesque. Been to BKk several times for shopping and food is actually my first time here at Wat Arun! I highly recommend everyone to visit this place too.The refined mosiacs and towering spires with then multiple colored walls make the whole temple looks magnificent.. i was in awe looking at it. As this is also a sacred place please do not turn up in shorts n tank top . I had a cardigan and wore a long skirt to have my arms and legs covered! But pls do not wear leggings as its deem inappropriate as well. This beautiful place is also an ideal place for photoshoot, there are traditional thai costume to be rent around the area! One of the highlights there would be the main Prang be sure to visit it. The whole structure also display the amazing thai talented craftsmanship as they are all handmade! From there you may also see the beautiful river scenes and cityscape. And inside the temples there are buddha sitting in there so leave a couple of hours 1-2hours to explore the whole place. Try to visit earlier in the morning for lesser crowds or later evening to have a view of perhaps the day and also wait for sunset by the river. Bring enough cash )small cash- to pay for the entry as the fee are not big amount they may not have change for you. Since this is along Chao Praya river ,recommend to take the boat over the Iconsiam since is just a stonethrow away! Is a beautiful mall with lots of food and shopping 🛍️ ~#watarun #bangkok #bkktips
