The Madi Paidi Hotel in Bangkok, which opened in September last year, is Thailand's first Autograph Collection by Marriott International - a boutique hotel with just over fifty rooms. Coming down from the BTS Thong Lo Station and following the navigation into the alley, you can see a building full of greenery appearing on the side of the road in about two minutes, with its elegant wooden exterior and lush leaves seamlessly blending into the natural environment of this tree-lined avenue - this is Thailand's first Autograph Collection brand hotel. The hotel's design concept is inspired by the contrast and integration between the leisurely feel of the streets around and the bustling atmosphere of Thong Lo. Passing through the entrance - the interior space is influenced by the design concept, presenting a classic and modern, East and West fusion and collision. At this Autograph Collection in Bangkok - guests can fully experience the warm Thai welcome, with the hotel's name Madi Paidi meaning 'happy arrival - joyful departure' in Thai - upon checking in at the front desk, guests will be invited to sit across, while being served a specially prepared drink and an ice towel. The hotel rooms come in three different main color themes - inspired by the colors of Thai gemstones, yellow jade, sapphire, and emerald, with many details in the room changing with the main color theme - even the soap at the washbasin comes in yellow, blue, and green! Additionally - the hotel has only one restaurant, right next to the lobby, called EKKALUCK, which means 'unique' in Thai, and there is also a rooftop pool on the ninth floor - the view is very nice, especially for watching the sunset and the evening glow.
