Wat Intharawihan, Bangkok 🙏This is an old temple that is related to Somdej Phra Buddhacarya To Phrommarangsi. He built a standing Buddha statue called Luang Pho To at this temple. And there is a sacred thing that he built, which is a holy water well. In the past, the original well was an ordinary well. 🌷 Luang Pho To (Phra Phuttha Sri Ariyametrai) is a large standing Buddha statue holding an alms bowl. It is 32 meters high. Later, a relic of the Lord Buddha was enshrined on the top of the head (hair), which was a relic given by the government of Sri Lanka. It is the second tallest statue in Bangkok. 🙏The main chapel enshrines the principal Buddha image named "Phra In". It is a Buddha statue in the Mara-Vijaya posture. He is in a cross-legged sitting position. The left hand is placed face up on the lap. The right hand is placed face down on the knee. The fingers are pointing down to the ground. 💦 Holy water well Inside the building, there is a wax statue of Luang Pho To and a prayer.
