Mangkon Kamalawat Temple

Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, Bangkok 🏮Wat Mangkon Kamalawat or Wat Leng Noei Yi, Yaowarat is a temple under the Chinese Sangha of Thailand. The temple has an architectural style in the southern Chinese style of the Teochew craftsmen. The plan is based on the style of Wat Luang, which is the first shrine, the Ubosot in the middle, and the shrine of the gods behind the shrine. It is a temple with beautiful art. 🙏The shrine of the four gods has four statues of gods (2 on each side) dressed in Chinese warrior outfits and holding different weapons and objects such as a lute, a sword, an umbrella, and a pagoda. The Chinese call it Si Tai Tiang Wong, which means the gods who protect and guard the four directions. 🐲The Ubosot, inside which the principal Buddha images of the temple are enshrined, namely, the Lord Buddha, the Amitabha Buddha. Three Bhaiṣajyaguru Buddhas, or Sam Poh Huk Chow, along with 18 Arhats, or as they call it, Jab Poh Lor Hang. 🐉 Leng Noei Yi is considered the “Dragon Head Temple”, located in a very good Feng Shui area, namely on Dragon Road on the Yaowarat side, a commercial area with abundant money.
