Grand Impression of Amazing Bangkok: A Walk Through The Grand Palace

#bangkoktrips The Grand Palace of Bangkok, also known as the Grand Palace, is the royal palace of the royal family of Thailand (Siam). It is located in the heart of Bangkok, close to the Chao Phraya River. It is a large-scale ancient architectural complex in the heart of Bangkok, consisting of 28 buildings with a total area of 218,400 square meters. The Grand Palace was built in 1782. After continuous repairs and expansions by successive kings, it still maintains a resplendent appearance. The design of the Grand Palace is inspired by the old royal Palace in Ayutthaya, the capital of Thailand. It is one of the best-preserved, largest and most ethnic buildings among the many royal palaces in Thailand. It is not only a symbol of the Thai royal family, but also a microcosm of Thai culture and history. The Grand Palace brings together the essence of Thai architecture, painting, sculpture and decoration art. The style has distinctive Siamese architectural and artistic characteristics. It is highly appreciated by tourists from all over the world and is called the Encyclopedia of Thai Art. The main buildings of the Grand Palace include Amarin Palace, Jieji Palace, Lushi Palace and Jade Buddha Temple. The Jade Buddha Temple enshrines a jade Buddha statue carved from a whole piece of jade, dating back to the 15th century. Every year, as the seasons change, the Thai dynasty will change different costumes for the Jade Buddha. The unique charm of the Grand Palace and the Jade Buddha Temple have become iconic buildings in Bangkok and must-visit places for tourists The Grand Palace is open from 8:30 to 16:30 every day (stop to selling of tickets at 15:20), and the ticket price is 500 baht (including tickets to the Grand Palace and the Jade Buddha Temple). It is recommended that tourists go in the morning to avoid hot weather and tourist groups. When entering the Grand Palace and Buddhist temples, you need to pay attention to the dress code. The tops must have sleeves, the bottoms must be long skirts or trousers, and no slippers.
