Sky-High Wonders from Day to Night at Baiyoke Observation Deck

#favouriteitinerary #travelanywhere One of the standout moments of our Bangkok trip was a visit to the Baiyoke Observation Deck. Located on the 77th floor, the observation deck offered an incredible vista of the sprawling cityscape. We opted for the additional experience of the revolving viewpoint on the 84th floor, where we were treated to an awe-inspiring 360-degree panorama. From this height, we could see all the way to the Gulf of Thailand on clear days. The journey up was an adventure in itself, thanks to the rapid elevators, including the crystal elevator, the fastest in Thailand. It whisked us from the 1st to the 88th floor in just 80 seconds, which was an exhilarating experience. At the 84th floor, we were able to enjoy the revolving rooftop, which offers an uninterrupted view. For safety, the area is enclosed with a fence rather than windows, as the winds at that height can be quite powerful. We timed our visit perfectly, arriving just before sunset to experience both the golden hues of the city during the day and the sparkling lights as night fell. Afterward, we headed to the 83rd floor for a drink, allowing us to continue savoring the stunning vistas in a relaxed setting.
