Various Sacred Sites for Spiritual Believers

Wat Mali, established around 1772 during the Thonburi era, has no recorded name or history of its founder. It was granted the royal boundary (Visungkhama Sima) in 1807. Key highlights and attractions within the temple include: - The Ubosot (Ordination Hall): Originally designed with sloping front and back roofs, it was later modified to a gable-front style in 1959. Inside, it houses the principal Buddha image, "Luang Pho Dam," a Sukhothai-style Buddha in the "Mara Vichaya" posture, made of stucco and gilded with gold leaf. This image was created alongside the Ubosot. Additionally, there are nine other Buddha images in various postures. During the visit, the Ubosot was under renovation, so "Luang Pho Dam" was temporarily relocated to a pavilion within the temple. - The Vihara (Assembly Hall): Houses "Luang Pho Sitthichok," a laterite Buddha image. - The Small Vihara: Houses "Luang Pho Khun," a revered monk of Wat Mali, and "Luang Pho Thongsuk" (also known as "Luang Pho Phra Khru Thammavimon"), a former abbot of Wat Mali known for his preaching and development work. - The Naga: Known as "Phor Pu Panthuma Nakarat."
