Bangkok's Best Hotels

This solo trip to Thailand was a spur-of-the-moment arrangement, and I decided to stay at the Moxy Hotel on the morning of the arrival day. The flight was slightly delayed, and coupled with Bangkok's traffic congestion, I looked a little disheveled when I arrived. But as soon as I stepped into the Moxy lobby, I felt a unique and warm welcome - the welcome drink given when checking in was particularly delicious! I missed breakfast because I usually sleep in, but I will definitely try their dining next time. The soundproofing of the guest rooms is excellent, but there are two details worth noting: first, the non-disposable slippers provided (non-disposable) are not hygienic enough in my opinion; second, the water-blocking design of the shower area is not thorough enough, causing the entire bathroom floor to be wet. This also makes it impossible to use the hair dryer immediately in a humid environment (after all, electric shock from water in the bathroom is dangerous). Other than that it's almost perfect - Moxy will still be my first choice next time I come to Thailand! ❤️ This solo trip to Thailand was arranged last-minute, and I decided to stay at Moxy on the morning of my arrival. The complimentary drink during check-in was delicious! Since I tend to sleep in, I skipped breakfast, but I’ll definitely try Moxy’s dining options next time. The room’s soundproofing was excellent, though two minor downsides stood out: First, the provided flip-flops (not disposable) felt less hygienic for personal use. Second, the shower area didn’t fully prevent water from splashing out, leaving the bathroom floor soaked. This also made it impossible to use the hairdryer immediately, which increases the risk of electric shock in the bathroom. Everything else was nearly perfect—Moxy will be my top choice when I visit Thailand again! ❤️
