Sleep at Rattanakosin..eat rice soup at Khlong Lod

I stayed at the Rattanakosin Hotel many years ago. At that time, the room looked very old... I stayed again yesterday. The aura of magic is still there because it is an old hotel in Ratchadamnoen and Sanam Luang for a long time. But this time, the room is very good. It seems to have been renovated, the wall paper has been changed. The big bed can sleep 3 people (1 King Bed + 1 Single Bed)... The mattress is new, I slept very well. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel, but there is a nice restaurant, especially the Chinese restaurant. It is beautiful and the atmosphere is very good. I went to eat rice soup at a small restaurant by the Khlong Lod canal. It was cheap and delicious. The queue was very long. It opens from noon until late at night. There are many meeting rooms at this hotel. It is not strange that there are many seminar guests staying here sometimes. Oh, when I stayed, there was a large Vietnamese tour group staying there.
