Red Cloth Wrapping Ceremony at Wat Srakes Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan

Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan (Phu Khao Thong) Red Cloth Wrapping Ceremony is a sacred ceremony which occurs only once a year on the 8th waxing moon day of the 12th lunar month. It is a ceremony to invite the red cloth to wrap around the royal mountain and pay homage to the Buddha's relics, which has been practiced since the time of King Rama V.
