One of the Oldest Museums in Girona Region

A Mediterranean Coastal Journey in Spain ～ Girona (Region) The Darder Museum is located in the town of Banyoles in Girona. It is one of the oldest museums in the region, showcasing natural history collections, while also dedicating a section to explaining the hydrogeological origins of the Banyoles basin. The museum also features classic exhibitions by Mr. Darder, the former director of the Barcelona Zoo. Exhibits of large stuffed animals, human bones, and mummies take you on a journey through the past. This place once held remnants of a notorious and unsettling history from many years ago.
