The Tang Dynasty Qin King's Tomb, comparable to an underground palace

There is a Qin King's Tomb on top of the Beipo Park in Baoji, but this Qin King is not the well-known Li Shimin, but the only Qin King Li Maozhen, who was granted the Li surname from a different family name. This Tang Dynasty Qin King and his wife are buried here together. Although called a Qin King, the tomb was constructed to the specifications of an emperor's mausoleum. Li Maozhen and his wife were buried with the treatment of an emperor and empress, respectively placed in the underground palace. The underground chamber of Li Maozhen's wife preserves the complete and largest unique rare ancient flying eaves building end tower (Photo 1). The tomb robbers' tunnel was precisely and fiercely dug above the coffin (Photo 5). The 'treasure map' designed according to the position of the Big Dipper (Photo 7) is full of mysteries, and no one would have thought that the brick surface paved with stone bricks is precisely the tomb-robbing code. This tomb is relatively less known, and if driving there, one needs to climb continuously. Coincidentally, it is about one kilometer away from the famous Xifu Old Street. It is still very much worth a visit. 📍East side of Lingyuan Village, Jintai District, Baoji City, on County Road 248 🚗 Direct navigation to 'Tang Dynasty Qin King's Tomb' 💰35 RMB per person, 50 RMB per explanation 🅿️5 RMB, parking lots available on both sides outside the main gate
