The "Nine-story Demon Tower" hidden deep in the Qinling Mountains

🗻Xueshan Cave, this niche travel destination, the cave is naturally formed, the cave is 23 meters deep and 5 meters high. According to legend, Qiu Chuji practiced here for several years in 1174 AD. It is also a holy place for the Quanzhen Sect. There is an abandoned "Nine-story Demon Tower" here, which looks a bit eerie due to years of disrepair. Hidden deep inside is a huge stone elephant, its tusks wrapped with red prayer ribbons, wishing the gods favor it and everything goes smoothly. 🚗Transportation: Navigate to Xueshan Cave, 20 kilometers from Gaoxin, and drive for about 25 minutes. 🅿️Parking: You can park directly at the destination, no parking fee is charged, and the parking lot is not very large. 🎫Tickets: free 📒Travel tips: Enter from the main gate, cross the small bridge, turn left after seeing the stone tablet, walk about 200 meters along the road, turn right at the fork in the road and go up the stairs. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will see the giant stone elephant. After viewing the stone elephant, return along the same route and when you get back to the fork in the road, the temple is on your left. If you keep walking to the back, you will reach the "Nine-story Demon Tower". I am quite timid, so I didn’t go in. The whole tour can be completed within an hour and the road conditions are friendly. When we came back, we saw some people barbecuing on both sides of the river. It’s also a good camping spot.
