Spring Mountain Hike | A free and easy hiking route to the sea for beginners in Beijing with few people

👋 Hello! I'm Zhenzuo, a former HR who is not into mundane affairs❤️ and loves outdoor activities & travel. ⛰️ Some friends asked me before if there's an easy and simple route around Beijing, where 🧒 kids and 🐈‍⬛ pets can go, and the scenery must be amazing! 🧗 I found one today! It's a one-way 3km hike, with few people, 🆓 free of charge, and accessible for kids and pets🐰. 👨‍🏫 Take note, you can see the 'sea'🌊 from the top! · ❇️ You can drive directly to the hiking entrance, 🚗 regular cars are fine, and parking is free. · ❇️ The trailhead is halfway up the mountain, and the ascent is via steps. If you look back at the entrance of the pine forest, you can see the 'sea'🌊 of Beijing's suburbs -- the Miyun Reservoir. · ❇️ The first 4/5 of the trail is paved, with guardrails at dangerous sections, so 🧒 kids can climb safely and easily. · ❇️ The deciduous trees along the mountain path may turn green a bit later than those in the city, but the evergreen pines🌲 look full of spring. · ❇️ At the end of the paved path, there's a small platform where you can view the 'sea'🌊. · ❇️ Those with some physical fitness can challenge the remaining 1/5 of the trail, which is a rocky path🪨, leading to the mountain top⛰️. From the large rocks, you can have a wide view of the entire 'sea'. · ❇️ If you want to see the 'sea'🌊 yourself or take your kids to see it, you can ask for the route guide in the comments section & through a small🪟 message📕. · ❤️ Thoughtful Tips‼️ 1️⃣ There are public restrooms only at the trailhead, and the 🅿️ parking lot has an electric car charging port🔋. 2️⃣ You can bring your own food, or dine at the restaurant at the trailhead🍽️, depending on your schedule. 3️⃣ There are no shops along the way, so just bringing a bottle of water🥤 should be enough. 4️⃣ In the latter half, there are large trees blocking the path, you can crawl under them, ⚠️ be careful. 5️⃣ The last 1/5 of the trail is a gravel path with many tree forks on both sides, and it's also slippery, so it's recommended to wear anti-slip hiking shoes🥾 and use trekking poles. · ⛰️ Have you been to Spring Mountain this year❓ 👀 Let everyone see the Spring Mountain you've climbed and the 'sea' photos you've taken in the comments section!
