Finally checked into the forest cabin at Forest Homestay

Weekend trip to the suburbs of Beijing - Family trip to the mountainous forest in Fangshan! We went to Fangshan and stayed at a forest hotel on the mountain, the experience was absolutely fantastic. 📍Hotel: Beijing Forest Homestay Resort Hotel 📍Address: Huatai Scenic Area, Dongcun, Puwa Township 🌿Hotel: The hotel has cabins and regular rooms. The cabins are in the pine forest, and the cabins in area C face the mountain with an unbeatable mountain view, but they are expensive. We stayed in a regular room across the road, which had no view from the room, so we had to go outside to enjoy the scenery. The pine forest area is also open to guests staying in regular rooms. 🌿Children's Play: The hotel restaurant has a small indoor playground where you can leave your kids while you eat. The pine forest area has many swings, children's climbing structures, and trampolines. 🌿Adult Leisure: The pine forest area has a self-service coffee house, and you can always find pavilion tables and chairs to relax while watching the kids. 🌿Outdoor Hiking: There is a wooden plank road in the pine forest 200 meters from the hotel. Enter through the Mario sign, and you will find the entrance to the plank road, which leads to the entrance of the Huatai Ridge Trail. The plank road is very interesting! Part of it is elevated in the air, level with the tops of the pine trees, and the other side offers an endless mountain view. It is child-friendly and easy to walk.
