After completing makeup and hair, you’ll have time to take photos. The staff on-site are dressed in traditional attire and will greet guests courteously. Since I have dietary restrictions, they were able to prepare alternative dishes upon request 🥹. Overall, the food scores 8/10. The portions may seem small, but they are filling. Upon arrival, your deposit will be refunded, and you’ll be asked if you want to purchase makeup and costumes, which will incur additional charges. If you opt for costumes, you’ll receive a token for the makeup artist. After being seated, staff will arrange for costume changes in order. Costume and makeup take about 30 minutes to complete. Personally, I felt my makeup was too trendy (not suitable for me). In hindsight, I could have done it myself to save money 😆. Before the banquet begins, staff will bring a tray of teacups for you to choose from, along with hot towels and incense for hand cleansing, creating a full ceremonial experience.
