Lindisfarne Priory, Holy Island

An easy day trip from Berwick upon Tweed to Holy Island, only around 30 minutes by car or bus. Check the tide times before leaving, as the causeway is submerged twice a day. The priory is run by English Heritage - a ticket includes access across the ruins, as well as entry to the small museum with many local artefacts and historic info. 20% discount for those with a bus or train ticket to Lindisfarne.
